  • Gee, this one's a bit squeakier than your usual flawlessness. Is it significantly more difficult than most others? Or did a mouse crawl in the hole?

  • Hi my friend. :-) I know. The reason it that I play on a guitar I have never played before! And it had some strange, undefined strings. Well, I can use that as an excuse anyways... :)

    All the best,

    Per-Olov

  • @AndanteLargo Thank you first for not getting mad at me. Then thanks for the explanation. I'm a pretty poor musician, even though I made it through music college. But that was more on brains than talent. I started out as a clarinet major, then switched to voice. I took a year of classical guitar in high school, not private lessons, just a high school class, then repeated it in college, same beginner book. I pick it up now and then, but I only progress to the same point and then hit a wall.

  • @AndanteLargo (Part 2) It was interesting to read that it was a different guitar that made that much difference. But I realize that the height of the strings (action they call it, right?) and the width of them could create quite a difference. I usually LOVE your playing, for the reason that you are so NOT squeaky. To me, it sounds pretty much like a squeak with the clarinet mouthpiece and that's a no no. Or the dragging bow of a bad violinist. (Aren't they ALL bad violinists? haha)

  • ok I need to start studying Bach seriously. Bravo PeO

  • not as good as the other one hah :-) . just saying

  • I loved the playing, but the waves are cheesy and obnoxious.

  • you are the best!

  • Well done. Not a flaw heard and a great video.

  • Great playing!

I've just realised that whenever I begin learning a new piece I search for it on youtube and 9 times out of 10 I end up listening to you perform it perfectly.

Thank you for putting all of this great music out there. You're a real help to students of the guitar

  • Very nice performance and the video art is wonderful also! I have just discovered your videos and website. God has given us all the gift of listening to your guitar magic. Beautiful and inspirational.

  • I am learning this piece!

  • Beautifully done. That is one of my favorite Bach pieces.

  • what guitar was that?!

  • what a gift. thanks

  • Wow!

The sea is very bautiful and the sound of the waves in the background is lovely!

You truely are a great musician and composer.

And a happy new year to you from Sweden:)

  • Dear Maestro Kindgren,

wonderful video!! Thank you for sharing!!

Beautiful sound!!I hope that perhaps you'll consider making an ALL BACH CD :)...You are a true maestro!!

    God bless,

    Good health,

    Ciao,

    Claudio

  • Very nice. You are a fine musician. I prefer this version without the reverb over the other version with reverb.

  • As expected.

    This piece is so overwhelming.

    An impressive performance from a

    brilliant musician.

Can I ask you some tips on playing the

    Classical Guitar???

It would be a bit help.

  • Thanks... It's very difficult to give advice when I don't know you at all... :-( Get a teacher, practise a lot and above all: remember it's about music and not yourself... LOL

    Good luck!

    Per-Olov

  • Lovely, as always.

  • I love Bach on the guitar. Flabbergasted.

  • Thanks a lot!

    Best wishes,

    Per-Olov

  • Once again you amaze me. You play this one with such fluidity and really bring out the running bass lines with out overdoing it. Bravo!

  • Thank you!

    Best wishes,

    Per-Olov

  • Per-Olov,

I love classical guitar! You are soooo goood... and so natural... I hope one day I can see you live! Keep it up. I want to buy your cd's... I am hooked. - Gleuto, Sydney Australia.

  • Thanks a lot Gleuto! I hope to go to Sydney some day and play. Yes, Please buy my CD!! :-)

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • The video, Bach, the rolling waves on the Miami coast: perfection! Who cares about the small bug and mistake, it's so irrelevant. You are a great musician of flesh and blood and Marie is a fine visual artist.

    Thank you Per, once again!

Once I'm ready for Bach (it's so difficult right now) we'll convince Jolina, right?

    Jasper

  • LOL Jasper! Thanks my friend. Yes, we have to work on Jolina! Can you understand how she functions? I can't. Who wouldn't love Bach? Well, I am happy you like him... and me..:-)

    Greetings!

    Per

  • Oh gosh ! Bach!!! ... Great Video ...(speechless)

  • Hi Himanshu! Nice comment! I'll call... tomorrow I will not be home though. I will be conducting 100 students in a gigant orchestra :-)

    See you!

    Peo

  • I would be honoured to hear from you Maestro :)... Gosh WOW what are you conducting ? A symphony ? Which one ?

    Take Care,

    Himanshu

  • The interwoven Bass and melody lines from Bach is really incredible, the bass forms a melody on it's own when you follow it and some places it draws complete attention as a little solo piece, great playing Per,you can never go wrong with Bach and you play it great Maestro, greets Vic.

  • Thanks Victor! Appreciated. You have really "heard" Bach, eh? Great!

    Hope you are well!?

    See you!

    Per-Olov

  • Silence...

The see is singing a song for peo... A song for Peo, remember it?

So many songs, sang by the sun over the see shore...

    Silence... Peo is listening...

It's a song for you, sang by the sun over the see...

  • Thanks Jean-Yves! Hope you are well!

    Best wishes,

    Per-Olov

  • As long as my Lord will be with me, I'll be as fine as possible on earth... You know, I'm so much nostalgic... Want to come back at home... Earth is so... heavy... But men like you give me the certitude that I was right to battle... I can't tell more about it...

That the one that has ears hears, and that the one that has eyes sees.

BTW, I'm fully alive again. I'm a sphinx...

  • Nice one Guv!!

    Paul

  • LOL. Thanks ol' boy!

    See you!

    Peo

  • my dear friend:

I love Bach!!! And I love the way you play it!!

What a perfect video !!! (Marie, thanks)

I bought a new webcam to get more quality.

But only for the details of the picture - not for my playing. sigh !!!!

cu, my northern friend from a country with the same temperatures like in Austria!

    vreci

  • Hi there Vreci! Thanks. Well, with a new webcam you will look even more handsome! And we will forget to listen to your playing!! HA!

    Cheers!

    Peo

  • beautiful video! sounds so nice!!

    best wishes

    jesse

  • Marvellous, Peo! - the Bach, the playing, the

    video, the bug - everything!:-)

    Hug, Maria

  • LOL (my meaning) You liked the bug too! Thank you! We had great fun doing this...

    Hope you are well!!

    Hugs,

    Peo

  • First, your playing is wonderful as always and errors only add interesting flavor to it. (Although from an amateur like me I can't tell what is wrong^^)

Second, the beach is incredibly beautiful. Is your house right in front of the ocean? I've been to Florida, but never had the time to visit the beach.

And last but not least, the filming and editing is fabulous. I like how your collab videos include your silhouettes and different movements. It gives more life to the video.

    Rina Lee

  • Thank you Rina Lee! Wow what a nice comment!

The beach is in front of Maries house yes. It's very beautiful and nice! How could you live in FL and never went to the beach?? How is that possible? LOL

The editing I have to give Marie the credits for. She is the visual artist here! I am really bad at it! :-)

    Than you!

    Per

  • That is funny. I said, "I've BEEN to Florida" I never lived there. Peo, you need new glasses.^^ I was visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida.^^

    Rina Lee

  • LOL. Sorry Rina Lee! I know! I need new glasses! And a new brain too! I understood you lived there and never went to the beach!! :-) I should have known that is impossible

Still friends? I'll get new glasses! Got a brain to spare?

    Peo

  • Still friends. Still subscribed. No brain to spare. I need a new one myself.^^

  • sigh... what a reliefe... now I can sleep tonight!

    Peo

  • Sorry. I think you misunderstood. I should have said "I didn't have time to visit Miami". You probably thought Florida = Miami. Florida is a state with many cities. Not all of the cities have beaches like Miami. Just wanted to clear that up.^^

    Rina Lee

  • LOL I told you!! I need a brain! Desperately! HELP!!

    Peo

  • Hey Peo!!! What a great video!! It look great there!! Wonderful playing as always! It is soooooo lovley!!

    Kiss Peo :-)

  • Great video!!! thanks for sharing!!

  • Thanks Eduardo! Thanks for listening!

    Per-Olov

  • Dear Per,

Mmmm another Bach thing I have to listen to a hundred times before I'm used to it. And I will do just that!

This vid didn't appear in my shortlist with new videos ... strange, huh? Stupid YouTube.

    Love,

    Jo

  • LOL!! That is because I uploaded it a week ago but didn't make it public until now! So don't blaim YT... this time... :-)

Thanks. I know you will end up loving Bach! Wanna bet?

    Hugs!

    Per-Olov

  • lovely all 'round

  • Hey Peo! Thank you so much for playing bach!((my favourite composer) :) I love this piece, wonderfully played. I didn't hear any mistakes, not that i tried to, i concentrated on the music and it was just lovely :) nice editing too!

Take care both of you!! wish you the best

    Liran

p.s. I wish I'd see you play Gigue from this suite too!

  • Hey Liran! Thanks a lot! Well there are mistakes! But I am glad you listen to the music instead!

    Per-Olov

  • Cada um melhor que o outro, each one better than the other!

    parabens Peo,

    Ovidio

  • Thanks Ovidio!

  • I love Bach! This is stunning! Wonderful! Now I go listen to it's companion!

  • Thank you Amy! I am happy you like it. We had fun doing it!

    Hug!

    Peo

  • Mr K,

I like this video because it is Bach's music.

I like it with the wrong notes, the mistakes and the bug on the window. But I love it because we did the editing together while you were teaching me how to use the program. I will give you five stars for playing the piece and editing the video (with my ideas)LOL. BTW I think my guitar sounds better than yours :), in your hands... of course.

    Kiss,

    Luna

  • Sweet Luna. I hate the wrong notes and the misstakes but I love the bug on the window and the fact we did this together. I like your guitar! Can I have it? :-)

    Kiss,

    Pelle
