I'm pro Lesnar because I've seen him since the WWE days and saw his "documentary" and he seems genuine with his physical abilities. Even if he never actually learned any martial arts before entering UFC, he can always learn, which is what he is doing. Of course, with so much animosity towards Brock from UFC fans, he'd get angry at some point. Brock has potential, so I think all the "Brock is BS" argument is invalid. He wins, he wins. He loses, he lose. That's that.

ok, I may have gone a bit too far in the end, but I never wanted to be compared to Brock Lesnar. But I stick to my opinion of him as a person. He's smart and has the potential to be a good fighter, but even if he gains the technique to belong on the same level as all the other heavyweigths in his division, his attitude still sets him apart from them. That's why he belongs in wrestling instead of MMA. You don't see GSP or Anderson Silva with the same attitude he has.

Those who say that its just Lesnar's strength and weight that wins him fights obviously have no idea how much technique is behind his wrestling. Yes those things do play a part, but the majority is his wrestling that allows him to dominate and control the pace of the fight, not his strength and weight. If Mir fought someone the same size and strength as Lesnar, but didnt have Lesnar's wrestling background, then Mir would win. Give credit where credit is due.

I'm more Pro Mir. then hate Lesnar. I did loose some respect for Lesnar after that crap he pulled in the cage, but thats what you get with Lesnar.
Brock is BIG, and with that enormous size and athleticism he will be hard to beat. If you watch the fight closely he pretty much just sat on Mir and pounded him into the canvas.
The reason I like Mir more is he has more talent, and is overall more skilled.

Lesnar is HUGE, compared to Mir. That size and strength plays a very large roll in his game plan, as it should, but there was absolutely nothing stunning about his performance, and if you think there was, then you my friend have much to learn.
The Matt Hughes and Royce Gracie fight, ....now that was talent..
Lesnar is still very new to the sport, so I suspect in time his talent will surpass his need to totally rely on his size and athleticism, at least I sure hope so..

Also... Everyone, was and is talking about what Lesnar brings to the MMA "table" so to speak, and in every conversation there is a great amount of time placed on his size, both weight, reach and height.
As I'm sure you know, they (UFC) had to have his gloves specially made for him, something like XXXL.

I don't hate Lesnar, but I think he compromises the legitimacy of the sport. That's not to say he can't fight. He obviously can, and we've all seen it, sloppy as it may be from time to time. He beat Couture and Herring, and that says something.
BUT...
Dana White should not have given him a title shot after only two fights, one of which he lost. That's complete celebrity favoritism in a sport where people bust their ass for years on end just to compete.

I never really liked Brock Lesnar even in the WWE. He was boring to watch IMO. And the Goldberg match didn't help, that was a monstrous disappointment. That much COULD and SHOULD have been epic. Sorry way for both of them to leave the WWE.

As for Belcher. You got to be kidding me. You used the same line Joe Rogan used to describe this fight which means that you are just a sheep who can't make up his mind without someone telling you that the fight was robbed. Akiyama landed much more cleaner blows had more take downs. What did Belcher do? Leg kicks and that's about it. Close fight but Akiyama won. Watch the fight without the commentary of biased as ROGAN who's racist against Asian fighters.

What has brock fought? Nothing! Mir is an okay grappler but he's just a middle of the road fighter. Let me know when Brock beats up guys that are bigger and stronger than him than I'll give him props. Fedor is the real world champion. not this paper UFC Brock lesner.

I think people hate Lesnar because he came from the WWE (aka fake wrestling) and he was hated there as well.
Plus, the whole flipping off the crowd after he won. That probably didn't help matters much. :-p

At this point I'm convinced people are anti-Lesnar because of his time in "wrasslin", but as far as I'm concerned that's in the past plus everyone forgets his NCAA amateur background. The man is a dominanting beast who's going to be at the top of the UFC heavyweight division for a good while, my advice to the anti-Lesnar crowd is to get used to it.

Maybe its because he came from WWE. and could actually pave the way for some of those wreslers to come in UFC and dominate, who knows? im not a wresling fan i think thats for kids. but what people dont realize is that in reality these fake wreslers know how to fight,and have to some degree very good skills. think about it what if chuck lidell, randy coture,or rashad evans had to face guys like the great khali or the big show. it might sound funny but i dont think they would want to fight.

he kicks ass and finish his fights with a bang. how could you hate a guys like that? mir has always been a miss match for brock. he just got lucky on the first match. if i were brock, i would act like he acted after the fight.. i you dint like me then fuck you.. i wish dana white would fetch fedor to fight brock. coz no one in the ufc right now would be a match for brock.

Lesnar is the shit! He sells tickets and is good for the biz. He has taken his crossover appeal and his pure talent and brought not only the HW division to new levels but the UFC as a whole.
I think people hate him because he makes it look so damn easy. People dont see the months and months of training he does and the way he lives his life. He doesnt have a cell phone or computor... He doesnt care about material shit, just beating his opponents. How can you NOT like the guy?
