I'm a big Va Tech fan, but I love these West Va uniforms! I also like how West Va paid tribute to the coal minors who lost their lives in that tragic explosion. I know people sometimes take sports too seriously, but sports can also bring you closer together to play for something greater. Great looking uniforms and what they symbolize make them even more special!

I love the Mountaineers I have attended every home game since i was a baby so I was born and raised in wv and I think this is awesome. I believe all the families will love this and appreciate... people that are bashin this state you learned to bash it you dont know nethin bout it, its is by far beautiful and most people are really oldschool and very nice.God Bless our Country Roads

And just a reminder: WV loses money on coal each year because these companies are all from out of state:

Massey-Richmond, VA

Consol-Cumberland, MD

Patriot Coal-St Louis, MO

These companies kill our brothers, sones and father, then take all the profits (except for a few scaps they leave behind) out of state and get rich fom it. Look into this Massey company a little and you will learn just how much they love WV.

Educate youyrselves and don't let them make light of the rape of WV.

@jeffor13 Every last one of the companies have operating headquarters in WV and pay damn near 1 billion dollars in taxes to the state yearly. WV is poor because politicians do nothing to bring new business to the state. If we stopped mining coal we'd have nothing. Logan and Beckley would practically disappear as would Route 3. Erosion has removed more of the hundred million year old mountains than coal ever did. Learn something yourself and raping the intelligence of other people.

If coal is so great for WV then why are we perpetually amoungst the poorest states in theunion? You know what would happen if they stopped mining coal in WV? The strams and rivers would clear up (unless gas drilling takes up the rape of WV like coal before it), hundred million yer old mounains would not be destroyed forever, coal trucks would stop destroying our roads and polluting the air. Basically, we would be way better off without coal. Don't by into the propaganda.

@jeffor13 True, but the same could be said for China. If they started paying their workers for something and used better energy, than people in China would be out of a job. The world economy would plummet and everyone would be screwed. It's about the jobs. Take away mining, ruin families all over WV. Take away oil drilling in the gulf, ruins families in Louisiana. And without coal how are you suppose to fuel your energy? Not everyone lives off of nuclear energy genius.

I Support WV Coal Mining! If they stop coal mining West Virginia is going to be nothing..This is our lively hood here in the mountain states.Yes, it has bad things about it BUT doesn't everything it is what you make it they can go about this a different way they can clean it up some more and change things but not STOP IT all together.Mountain top removal okay yes they take mountain tops off but what do they do when they put in new roads or put shopping malls in.They do the same thing!!!

These uniforms suck!! Coal sucks!!! Why are they shoving this down our throats? I hate coal. Why can't they promote our natural beauty instead of the grimy, evil coal industry. WV loses money on coal each year so why are we letting our football team be pimped out to shill for an industry that takes most of it's earnings out of state? Remember Massey Energy (the murderers) are a Virginia company. Those miners died so that a few evil men (out of state) could get rich.

At age 7, a "mudslide" hit our house & knocked it off the foundation. I woke up in broken glass & orangemud.
