I love this song. I got to sing it at a Christmas concert and it was amazing.

But look at all this ridiculous division and fighting within your own religion. And you wonder why people are agnostic/atheist/deist (like me). Grow up and accept each other.

We know Jesus wasn't born on the 25th dec but we can celebrate Christmas to bring people to church that would not normally go! this song is amazing! one we hope to do in our church.

I'm an evangelical Christian and yes your attitude is the same as what caused the need for to Jesus to give only one commandment and that is to love one another... people attract or push others away from the church... which group do you fall in?

Is it a Hippie anything goes love that has lead to the Immoral Christian church of America? You cant push anyone away from Jesus He said my sheep hear my voice. You are giving them a crutch brother.

@BrandonClapp74 This conversation shows how fellow Christians allow trivialities to divide us and is a horrible testimony to the world. One way scripture talks about love specifically is that "they will know you are Christians by your love for one another." It would be nice, considering the message and beauty of this song and the Spirit of Christmas to exemplify that here instead.

@autotheography I dont find anything to do with God trivial and as for the beauty of the song it nice but Christmas is a Pagan Holy Day and was around long before Jesus the Romans just combined the two. I do love my brothers and sisters however love means telling the truth.
