  • Been following this whole Fracking business for over 2 years now. It is unbelievable how many people still don't know anything about it. Post stuff to your social networks to get the word out. This video is a cute way of telling the truth about the dangers of FRACKING.

  • @dejai513 we must occupy the fracking wells - time to defend the planet

    facebook.com/pages/Occupy-the- Fracking-wells/250444351691125

  • Want to see wells ON TOP OF water reservoirs? Google maps this... 40.144775,-80.258563 2 reservoirs, both with wells Above them. ANY accidental Runoff would go straight down the hill into the reservoir.

Insanely Retarded! WTF! This stuff seems to be being done on purpose!

Who the F sees no problem with this???

  • Nice video.

  • I have a question, is fracking oil today, a play for MONOPOLY control of water tomorrow, think about it before answering.

    Thom in Scotland.

  • It's not just poisoned water. It's a disaster for the air as well, not to mention the destruction of roads by the continuous pounding of huge fleets of monster trucks. But the taxpayer gets the bill, the gas companies get the profits, and the people, well, they get the shaft as usual.

  • very good :)

  • This just makes me feel dumb. vv Neal is right, it simply appeals to our base emotions to scare us of fracking operations, not even mentioning the gains our country can see from them.

  • @PUSHbmx1 the gains... list? you can't claim something that scares you to be "simply appealing to our base emotions". Pretty sure if someone was threatening your life you would believe those base emotions and perhaps even ask the threatener to appeal to their own. Would you go to pensylvania and drink their water? Or are you far enough away to conveniently not have to appeal to those "base emotions"?

  • @ZoeElliot Well, I actually live in Pennsylvania and I work for a neighboring township's engineerind dept. We have just been through endless council meetings on mineral extraction and drilling is now about to occur here in my community. So I am by no means out of the way of the operations. Drilling has been happening nearby and my drinking water is fine. Our township will see economic gains and the country as a whole will be able to utilize domestic oil for our consumption.

  • @PUSHbmx1 Maybe you don't see it now, but what if the frac water that has been "contained" for now leaks in the future? By the way, not all chemicals in water are noticeable. As for us, we're protesting. And getting our water checked.

P.S. The companies are BASED down south. What do they care if our water is spoiled? Their water will be fine.

  • I'm sorry, but the slightest risks in affecting our environment and ourselves can't outweigh the immense need to act on the gold mine of oil and gas we have in our shales.

  • @PUSHbmx1 This is called - greed. ANYTHING can be justified with this argument... anything.

  • nice work earthjustice.great animation.

  • So let's see. Oil companies greedy jerks. This whole video has a thin veneer of appealing to people's base emotions: fear and envy, to manipulate people into their point of view. I don't know of the POV is right or wrong. The method is execrable.

  • Fracking is pollutive and dangerous, it endangers you and your children, there is another way! There is no escaping polluted water, it's too pervasive.

    ---->

Hemp oil is clean, and creates good green jops, and good economy, vote for a free market, tell all your friends on facebook, and elect green politicians. Hemp can produce healthy green and re-newable gas, plastics, paper, clothes, paints, and thousands of other green products. Ask the companies who Frack to go green with hemp oil.

  • Shared on Facebook! Great video!

  • This video is a great way to get a difficult message across to the masses... Well done!

  • @mushmouse,I watched a documentary 3 years ago about this taking place in Wyoming on a massive scale and the audacity of the oil companies at that time was way out of line with any humane logic that could be applied! They have no soul and pretty soon we will have no water safe enough to drink! God,I wish people would wake up?G'day.

  • I watched a documentary on fracking and all the sick people with these wells close to their houses...the government does not care and knows this is going on..I just wonder where THEY are going to get their drinking water from? These practices are wide-spread...coming soon to a neighborhood near you!

  • The No Like must've been Cheney...

  • I don't think you can read from my comment that we shouldn't conserve. Did I give that impression? I tried to compare our need to conserve with growing demand in China and India. It's complex: China has surpassed us in greenhouse gas emissions but produces more from renewable resources than anyone else. India is the 4th largest consumer of oil after US, China, and Japan. I have no desire to see us use more: I ride a dinky little scooter to work. Stewardship and economics equally.

  • The oil/gas companies don't care if they pollute your drinking water. They are buying up rights to potable water as we speak, so that they can SELL you clean drinking water, after they pollute your's! Now isn't that a great business plan?

  • Let's see...demand for energy is going up -- even if we back off and reduce China and India won't...everybody wants a car, who can blame 'em? It was good for us! But fossil fuels are limited and harder to get to and we have to dig deeper and drill farther and frack and all ... Setting aside all possible danger and accidents and clean water problems, it's got to run out eventually, or get too expensive to bear and still live the lifestyles we're living.(Gasoline = $4.00 /gallon @ here.) Hmmm...

  • @soundcloset Did you ever consider conserving some of that energy, rather than making sure that we use more?

  • So freakin' good! Simple, yet, to the point, and with humour, the antidote to despair.

  • FANTASTIC!!! We are fighting fracking here in Australia.

The mining companies already have a head start in Queensland and are moving into New South Wales. We are determined to stop them!

They are even planning to drill in the Tweed Valley - home of the Mt Warning Caldera and less than 1 hour from Byron Bay.

    NO FRACKING WAY!!!

  • @RossoCarne you need to tell the people in Pennsylvania who cant drink their well water, because an accident with Frack water went into their wells, and killed all ife and vegetation in the path it spilled. tell that to the people who can take a match to their water in the kitchen tap, and set it on fire.

  • If I can show you the list, will you take this down?

  • great work here. well done thank you!

  • wonderful illustration.

  • We should water board the frack outta them with the water from those wells!

  • Makes me wonder now what really broght on my husband's cancer? Now that i have learned about fracking, and the waste in the water. there si more to the story, such as we have well water, and the Association has not been having it treated. now i am wondering what they have been treating for??

  • @kamiko70 Have you heard about MMS or vitamin B17? Natural cures for cancer right there, although it has to be used with caution.

  • @nielss4 If you want to play with your life, that is fine, have fun go crazy and kill yourself. However, i do not wish to allow an armchair parmacist play with my family's life. i do not know you, you are not my husband's doctor, so you can keep your advice to yourself. Thank you very much.

  • This is frackin' terrific!

  • I put 2 puppet movies about this subject on YouTube. Search Puppet Gas and Unbearable Regulations.

  • I wish I could love this video 400 times! More animated editorial cartooning!

    Great work!

  • Why remove comments...Freedom of Speech...Stop being such a sensitive pansy!

  • those madderfrackers...

  • Comment removed
