this is an amazing video! this kid is an absolute prodigy but what bothers me the most is that at what age 6?! hes already been branded by Vic Firth shown in the bit at the end playing with the band by wearing a shirt and cap and probably has their logo branded on hes left but cheek. I doubt he was asked if he wanted to be a live company logo at age 6?! or if he realizes Vic is taking credit for his phenomenal playing skills at such a young age.

KingMike, You know I've seen dozens and dozens of comments like this about child drummers. I'm not being negative here, so don't take this the wrong way. I think it's great that this kid is getting a head start on drums like this. But what really happens to these kid drummers? It isn't new. I mean, this didn't just start when YouTube was born. It's just that now we can see them. What really happens when these kids become adults is the real question. I bet you some lose interest.

@ShelterDogs - I agree, its too youg to start a child on serious drum lessons, you should realy wait till they are about thirteen - the recorder is a perfect instrument for a six year old - why is this kid attending drum lessons? I would imagine its because his father wishes he could have been good! And thats a terrible reason to push your child into anything

How fast can you learn? ....and at his age! It's pure gift and with an angel smile of enjoyment. It's fun to see his whole body dance with the beat. He plays like a pro and no comparing him with other kids his age and even Dom was loving teaching and playing with him.
