He's butchering this beautiful firearm. I own one in 16 gauge, and would never do anything to them. Keep them original I feel sorry for this Winchester Model 12

@Chris090883 the wonderful thing about owning a gun is that it is yours and that you can do whatever u want to it to make it "yours." what's so special about a gun that is identical to thousands of others. when you put your own time and sweat into your gun to suit your preferences, that makes that gun, that much more valuable to you and it doesn't matter what others think. that's why we have finishes like duracoat and so many aftermarket parts for guns. i think he's doing a wonderful job.
