Skipper Chuck at the 1974 Dade County Youth Fair

I remember Pirate's World, it opened 1966 with a buccaneer theme that was only skin deep but it offered some great rides.In my opinion the best ride of all was the steeplechase, where you straddled molded horses and hung on to a metal "bit" as your horse traversed an undulating track designed to mimic a real jumping race(I was only ten the last time I visited Pirate's World). It was located in Dania, on the north side of Sheridan Street, east of US 1.

I went on the Skipper Chuck show for things like friends birthday parties. I also remember going to the fair, but I think it must have been 72 or 73 for me. Anyone remember Pirate World?
