you can look in the King James Version which is by far the most accurate "version" of the bible b/c number one it does not have a copyright nor does it add or take away from the context of the original scrolls. They had to put the scrolls in a bible format so that it could be read by anybody that wants to. The King James version is written the way it is to be set apart from all other books b/c it is holy.

loved it. I think I could probably do something like that. and I love this song, used to sing it in my old church, and forgot ll about it. its realy nice, I actually did an art peice and carved in the choures on the sides, and in the middle there was a cross with jesus on it. I lost that carving stamp, but I have a paper that I stamped it on, my mom kept it.
I watched this video clip almost all the way through and then suddenly it hit me really hard and personally. "And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us". I was so overwhelmed. . still am. Great, the guy can paint, but why should we kid ourseves that art is worship? We have no idea what Jesus looked like (except in Isaiah it says he had NO beauty), painting a face and calling it Jesus is idolatry. It would be more God-honouring to keep looking at the words about Jesus - this sort of art-based piety is what led Rasullah to challenge the Christian message. And that song says Jesus put me "above all" - WRONG, He put God's will and God's plan above all. We have to submit to God.

Let's not argue about the appearance of Jesus Christ, what we need to focus on is what He did for us. God became flesh (Jesus) and dwelt among us (on this earth) and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our benefit not His own. Jesus did what He was to do for mankind....shed His blood for the forgiveness of the word's (mankind's) sin and redeem mankind so that we don't have to go to hell. You people need proof, Anyways according to the verse you mentioned, if you read in 13th verse, its stated as "judge for urself", it is our wish whether to grow hair or cut it short, Paul mentioned those words to the people of Corinthians who are deeply in sin. In those days all Jews had a shoulder length hair, which is not as long as the women have in those days. So having a shoulder length hair was weird.

This is very inspirational, however.... I believe christ wants us to think of him in the spirit using our faith, people look up to images and other forms of art to establish a link to the most high, even the word of our father in the bible warns us of these things, not that it's sinful but because in days to come the devil will win souls to himself by making images, statues etc move and talk and people will follow him. Please read the book of revelations, be aware of his tricks and be blessed.

you can look in the King James Version which is by far the most accurate "version" of the bible b/c number one it does not have a copyright nor does it add or take away from the context of the original scrolls. They had to put the scrolls in a bible format so that it could be read by anybody that wants to. The King James version is written the way it is to be set apart from all other books b/c it is holy.

I think I could probably do something like that. and I love this song, used to sing it in my old church, and forgot ll about it. its realy nice, I actually did an art peice and carved in the choures on the sides, and in the middle there was a cross with jesus on it. I lost that carving stamp, but I have a paper that I stamped it on, my mom kept it.
