  • You can really hear the raspyness of John's voice since he had a cold on this day. It just adds more to the vocal. I love it.

  • It is indeed John!

  • Love, love, love this song!

  • I'm pretty sure it's John singing. If you listen to voice tone at about the 1.01 through to 1.27+ and compare it to the sound of John's voice on Twist and Shout, it sound identical.

  • It's John, he had a heavy cold when recording this song...it sounds the same on the album

  • one of my all time favorite beatle recordings.

  • @ClicksAndWhistles Actually there is a way to get only the vocals out of this track. You can do it with audiocity. Just place this track, and the instrumental tracks, and invert it.

  • @GooseMixes not true. although that does work with some songs it still wouldn't get all of the noise out. but if you can actually get it you should upload a video cause i'd love to hear just john in this song.

  • Sounds like John singing, but there are times I have confused him with George.
