Dude. Seriously. The distance from the star that the planet is affects the speed of the orbit. If the planet is large and is in a relative orbit similar to Mars...it would go faster (knowing also that the size of the planet would affect that orbit too). Further away from the primary...the slower the orbit. The size of the planet can be deduced by the speed of the orbit and the size of the eclipsing of the primary. Dink.

okay judginf from the size of our solar system we can make accurate estimations of the sizes of other solar systems and the star and planets inside them.if a planet is closer to a star than earth is but has a thicker atmosphere then it can maintain life, if a planet is further away from a star than earth but has a thinner atmosphere it may maintain life, We cant live in space cause we get materials from earth, cant live on the moon cause we need materials from earth

In all seriousness, I don't think it would bother most of the religious. The Catholic church, for instance, had the pope come out and make a formal declaration that he believes there may be life on other planets. So, that takes care of a huge chunk of Christians. The others have, I believe, more people than you would think who believe God may have life elsewhere in the universe. Mormons actually base their doctrine off of a firm belief in extraterrestrials. Buddhists and Hindus are fine with it.

Its not that, you can convert moon dust(certain types of it and rocks) into water, and build greenhouse type domes that would at first be supported by oxygen pumps but like I say, with water you can grow plants, but first you need atmosphere, and thats where Co2 carbon emisions come in, we have too much on wearth but it would make the moons atmosphere thicker to support its own oxygen and all we and plants need, eventually we wont need the domes even. it just takes time to terraform.
