Stated another way: What does the Bible explicitly teach us about "preaching" (commands, admonitions, etc.), and how do the sermons of Jesus, Peter, etc. inform our preaching goals and methodology?
I think more than anything, this shows how faithful GOD has been in John Piper's life in preaching the Word. Piper is a small, puny, human just like us, being used by a GREAT and HUGE God. Amazing :)
