no.I mean the history of all tales was ToP(Tales of Phantasia) is also game/anime. but without it, ToS and ToTA won't be there..considering all battle systems and any improvements was because from ToP is still not too popular at first time it made

It was renamed that in the states so they wouldn't have any legal trouble (the name eternia is the property of the creators of He Man I think)
