Obama is in fact failing, however keep one thing in mind when an official is elected they concentrate on one thing, rewarding those person's whom put them in office, this is true for an eighth grade student body president or the president of the U.S.A. In regards Obama has done exactly that, the freeloaders on welfare have certainly bettered their lot and the international bankers whom are part of his cabinet are now wealthy even beyond their own wildest dreams, Afghanistan is not even a subject
Attention KOng2010, my neighbors are all employed, we live more than 30 miles outside town, a little too far from the food bank and unemployment office for the 'Obama Crowd'. If you are unemployed consider moving, the trick in bettering you lot might revolve around leaving your parents basement.
Excellent video. While I have to admit for once I agree with her...at the same time, it kind of turns my stomach to hear from her the words that should have come from another Clinton back in the 90's. Her words to the Paki government about the Taliban are words I wish were said to Clinton about bin Laden - (paraphrasing) I don't believe you don't know where they are. Barry is increasingly alarming me. The rise in US and Afghani deaths are on his hands.
The only thing that can save america in Iraq and Afghanistan is Iran, its that simple, its been that simple for 9 years, but no, the american government is on its high horse and it aint gettin off !! lol
and man more boots for sure... + cooperation with and learning from the local agents + some serious studying, studying, studying on state building.............................. just look the EU up weve been pretty sucessful :DDDDD
yeah europe did a great job nation building in africa asia and the middle east. good job with isreal too....(eyes roll) jealous of a legacy like that? hardly a thing to be proud of
lol dude... we carry watchs, we dont pretend to be abble to set the time lol we didnt need any invasion to undertake effective state building everywhere in our area, from turquey to georgia passing by the balcans.. not to mention our huge influence in the democratizing of the magreb (yes its no coincidence all those problems are in the middle eastern area, not north africa...) etc etc just be jealous :DD lol we rule :PPP
Georgia? Lol. Turkey wasn't europe...its was attaturk. Again europeans have try nation building the wolrd over and failed...entrie contintents are still dealing with european imperialism and the inequality and oppression it brought with it. The euopean economy is the yesterday...if not for eastern europe (and the balkans freedom had as much to do with america policy in spite of european obstructionism than anytihng). Good job with bosnia too....lol.
eastern europe, fascist europe.. yes we can help each other (thing that the US has never ever done w its neigbours......
balkans... u bombed it, weve been dealing w it ever since. if it wasnt for the EU the guys would probably still be in civil war. check out stats even wikipedia has basic info on the outstanding progresses. yes, on bosnia too.
were just have the baisc understanding of human dynamics and how to deal w them respectfully. sorry. lol but ur still allowed to be jealous :PP
americans are all about rushing man u hav to calm down.... and history will tell lol) but dont take it out on us man weve learned our lesson a looooong time ago and have tried to pass it on some ppl just dont listen :PPP
i dont see what the european economy has to do w anything. but fyi were the biggest trade block in the world etc we have just a huge influence on everything man just go read some stuff on the issue
man really u want to discuss turkey?! atarturk was in the 20s, and committed many genocides as u well know. were talking about current democratization. and w turquey u dont even need stats man really its just talk to the ppl if u can go there ull immediatly get it.
oh yes european imperialism how are we gonna deal w that LOL dudde i understand ur frustrated that obamas not fairing that well (but well could he ever be on the level of expectations so soon???
I'm not surprised at obama obamas polcies are failing just as I am not surprised you have a huigely hysterical point of view of the success if european imperialism. Its funny really.
get a grip? you are saying how the world should learn from europe because you've done such a wonderful job at nation buidling. history scoffs at this perspective. sorry. europe to this day has a legacy of causing conflict that pervades present day. hell america is a result of failed european policies and imperialism.
yes we are dojng a wonderful job. we didnt realise the need of nation building until after the end of the cold war, but once weve got that weve done the right moves. the first thing we did was to try and u.n.d.e.r.s.t.a.n.d. what was going on. u never ever did that until now, so of course ur late and have a lot to learn form us.
and i was thinking about obama i dont really get why youre against him and who ur for then u dont understand probably u know something i dont i think hes GREAT.
a wonderful job? lol. yes the right moves is that why the ukraine and georgia are slowly becoming satellite states of russia again? i don't think he's great either, how his administartion has tried to rush negotiations in israel has been a failure. europe has a lot to learn from us as well. americans understands the idea of recipricol learning, europeans have always though they know best. history has proven them wrong.
and yes exactly because we dont invade anyone we cannot control everything. i agree theres a lot more we could do; we do hav problems of conflict of interesses between different countries. On the international field and we just cant pull it together, probably wont be able to in the near future.
the relationship w russia is a classic example. countries like germany are deeply involved w russia more generally deeply respect it. (countries like the uk are less complacent).
And we should respect cause after all it does hav 160 million people and can be a very powerful democratic ally who can expand democratic influences all the way to central asia and china. Anyway i agree we should do a lot more to protect georgia; about ukraine we just have to continue helping it in a gradual process. the important thing is that both countries continue on a path for democracy and a better future for themselves.
And of course that part of that process is to back up russia road to democracy. Now u dont do that by invading the country or going to a G8 and say of but putin is so mean; u do that by understanding how the state is working why is it working like that what are its internal dynamics and what influence we can have where how etc.
anyway im tired and not making the best points this video is about afganistan and the comment was about that kind of nation building. Weve done better in every country mentioned so far without invading them then uve done w irak or afg. Thats not obamas fault, let the man breathe. And pulling out is not an option I believe.
+ read some stuff on the crisis ull learn that the european central bank has been doing the right moves all along and that ur federal reserve or whatever and ur finantial policies that got us into this mess
I've read a lot. Currency valuations are not all there is to running an economy. There is negative growth. You failed at the crisis. Ignore that...lol. I know the eu does nothing wrpong. Lol
again this is not the 19th century, this is not even 1945. nation building has been an issue since colonization, but it has become important to the west only since the cold war. again, we were quick to get it and act accordingly. probably cause we knew from experience that were not able to be on top forever and control everything always etc. maybe its only natural that america too let its illusion of omnipotence get into its way for a while, but well u did hav our example and should know better.
funny thing is americans understand the mistakes that are still being made, as opposed to europeans who think they have the world figured out. thats what makes it so funny. your trade deficits are ridiculous and the xenophobia that exists in europe is at new heights. we know we have issues, maybe one day you'll realize you do too. in big ways.
"americans make the right choice, after theyve tried every wrong one" (churchill). sorry but thats basically ur thing, much more than us. i mean u voted for bush twice for christ sake. lol. + in some areas we simply hav more experience.
our trade dicits fall into european standards that are simply waaaaay healthier than urs, sorry. i mean lol how much are u owing china? isnt ur "owing" allowment policies that created those imobiliray and etc bubles there i mean the crisis? jesus
no doubt ive said in many videos that the usa is an adolescent nation in many regards. i dont disagree, in fact, some of the things i meant that can be learned from america is how NOT to do things. its still learning. we owe china quite a bit, but their currency is tied to ours. the realiationship between us and china is much healthier than the one euopre shares with them. thats off topic.
even afganistan was us s idea. anyway were all still learning; ive always noted for example that without clinton the balkans right now would be in an undescribable situation; america did what we probably never would be able to. but well. thanks for answering; all the best ))
oh trust me we have issues. we have a problem handling immigration but worse we have a problem handling each other etc animosities always present + all the areas with weak and unstable states + the communist and fascist inheritances etc
itsd just very complicated and trust me we do realize it lol we realize it only too well
and ok ur right were not awesome at dealing w these issues but i know were better than u guys. of course in later generations theyre gonna look at all of us like fairly primitive etc but in our common primitiveness europe pretty much kicks *ss lol or has done so in the bush years. I dont think im being arrogant here—I mean the us doesnt even have geography lsats. Jesus. But I also think that w Clinton and now w obama u guys rock too I mean at least u know that u dont know, just like us etc
european banks are overleveraged and undercapitalized, far more so than american banks. there is a significant concern among economists the world over for europe because of this. we have issues with a currency crash and commodity inflation. unlike you i see weaknesses in both camps. overconfidence never bodes well for europe.
now i dont know if our banks are those things im no economist i do know that weve followed far healthier policies imposed by the ECB and that included far higher interest rates than in the US. its no coincidence that the more f**** countries in europe were the ones not in the EU (specially iceland+switzerland).
and ive always seen weaknesses in both camps. i just believe that we are better at state building than u guys, simply cause we understand how to contribute to it without any invasion.
but once again why dont each county do this well the leaders of each county dont have any control ther zombies made by the rich masters ROFL ! its Sad but ture thay love haveing the UN under ther control so thay can keep have war or make money or oil or just fuck up ever thing thay have very low IQ the people that are behind them there almost Retards ! ROFL thay may not like what i have to say but that wont change who thay ARE ! MONKEY ZOMBIES !
if you want to stop the war, its very easy to do one the UN it self must ! Recanize each county as one seat vote meaning each county value is one single SEAT ! that the frist step then all the countys must take a Vote about any war that is going on the planet and Vote to stop it this give the usa a way out makeing it look like the UN with its new power order them out if the county keeps on fighting after the UN order them to Stop then that county has to take on the hole world
Obama is more qualified to be president than the previous corporate HOOD ORNAMENT was. Maybe that ain't sayin' MUCH, but he is eminently more qualified than that sock-puppet...but then so is his kids' DOG...
Note to Tim:
Colin Powell got out when he realized he'd been lied to and had BOUGHT the TRIP. If he could be fooled by the NeoCons, he probably felt his career was washed up anyway. Don't take it too hard - yes, he took the high road....he did the right thing.
Obama decides to call it a day, and pulls the troops out of Afghanistan, leaving a cadre of 'advisors' to make sure the Afghan military is as well-versed in advanced tactics and nefarious tricks as our own military.
What I think WILL happen:
Obama decides to leave the troops in there because his cojones CAN'T do the 'grinch heart' thing, and as casualties continue to mount, continues to try to turn the public's attention to domestic matters... unsuccessfully...
Early on, I was starry-eyed about Obama....yes, I had my own 'moment of weakness'...a sort of tomfool IDEALISM...pffft. Being an ex-Chicagoan myself, I should've known better. More and more, he's showing signs that the job and the SYSTEM are 'getting to him' and he's becoming, with increasing rapidity, a 'political creature' in the modern sense. Here's a lil' eye-opener I stumbled across regarding one of his field trips: watch?v=ZGyx2k_yS7Y&feature=response_watch
VERY WELL SAID!! I could not agree with you more on this one. Hillary was right...Obama is not qualified to be President. Everything that he ISN'T doing is proof. When will the "people" stop saying "well Obama inherited this and that" and start holding this gut accountable? Yes, we need a President dictator, but he should at least dictate.
well he certainly isn't doing much. been a year now since he was elected and i havent seen much to show for it, except an EU wary of him, a middle east giggling at him and china and russia testing him. its been a year, he stands on his own accomplishments, and those are few and far between.
Well now wait, he instructed the DoJ to not enforce Federal marijuana laws, then in the next breath told the DoJ to fiercely defend DOMA related lawsuits...because although he claims to say he doesn't agree with it, we must respect it while it's a law and therefore enforce it. SAY HUH?
this is a very grey area in accordance with our idealogy isn't it? When people of greater ability of manipulating facts thrust people into paranoia then people become unable to discern truth from false. and i belive it is those people torn apart by meangless fear that shall make my prediction come true (good job Alex Jones for damning humanity)
i dont find islam a threat or something to fear. i find it to be a stone aged theology that eventually reason will kill. until such time i can only pity those who are bound by its limitations.
i think eventually it will be bigger than a 9/11. revolution is iran, showdowns in israel. the uk should destroy any movement whose ambitions are to violate human rights in the name of a fairy tale deity.
Obama is starting to remind me of Hitler, oh not in the usual sense some fringe element might spout, just in the fact that he was also full of promise and did nice out of the gate, but later in the race he is making lots of mistakes and not listening to the real experts. Hitler didn't listen to his generals either.
Funding to the Pakis could very well be used against us in the next terror attack, if you believe the surface of all this and don't look any deeper.
Your comparisons of Elmo to Hitler and such are lame, don't lump me with all the other nuts that paint Hitler staches on Obama pictures. Settle down, take a breathe, read some history and get back to me when you aren't watching Elmo, ok?
"OMG! Did he just ATTACK OBAMA calling him Hitler!!? I have to put this to an end, with my stupid crap that makes no sense!!" Really, you'll laugh at yourself, when you understand how stupid you just were.
Oh. My comparisons of Elmo to Hitler are lame huh? Really? THAT's lame? Not say, comparing Barack Obama to a fascist warlord in Germany? These things are the same thing to you?
And if you knew where Pakistan is on the map, you would not have had to have someone back you up. Please, that's just sad.
i think jason he was trying to point out that hitler started out with the hope and promise and hearts of the people. i don't recall him making a metaphor to how it will end but the process in which he is seeking advice. like bush, obama does seem to be listening to yes men.
Fact, Hitler made many military mistakes, cuz he kept ignoring the great advice his generals were giving him. Just like Tim has pointed out Obama is doing now. Can you see that similarity? Why do you strike me as some DNC retard, who sees Hilter and Obama in the same paragraph and responds the same way to the situation, without truly comprehending the message?
I had a world map on the wall when I was 5, I remembered much. I've played alot of RISK. I remember my geography classes. You're sad.
Hey, RISK narrows the region down, it isn't exact, but if you know your map you can tell what countries are in each region. I don't know every country on the map, just most of them. That said, I could have left RISK out of my comment, it's too risky.
So Hitler and Obama are the only two people who have made military mistakes? Not Lyndon Johnson? He doesn't remind you of Hitler? What about Nixon, who ended the Vietnam war? He didn't listen to his generals. Is he like Hitler too?
First, the only person who should be compared to Hitler is Hitler. Second, you have to put the "great" advice of the generals in perspective. Their job is to look at this from a purely militaristic standpoint. And for US to "win," it has to be about more than that.
You seem to have this Hitler hang up. "Compare Obama to any other failed military strategist that was head of state, BUT NOT HITLER!!!". That's what I'm getting from you. Nixon is ok with you, but not Hitler!! OMG!! not Hitler.
Tim understood my comment and you don't see him bitchin, "Now Alex, you're gunna have to choose somebodyelse, I won't stand for any Hitler is like Obama bs".
I'm sorry Jason, I should have realized that my comment would only get the Obama nuts in a frenzy.
well certainly other metaphors could have applied. I think maybe Mao and Stalin Milosevich the khans, maybe a few others are in the same catagory. hitler was an evil man, but he was one of many.
All I'm saying is, why compare people? I thought it was stupid when people called Bush Hitler, and It's stupid when people call Obama Hitler. I think it would be stupid to compare Charles Manson to Hitler.
Essentially what you're doing with this Hitler speech, is you're taking something you don't like about someone, and then forcing a completely irrational perception of who they are.
Kim Jong is a tyrant douchebag. But I'm not going to compare him to Stalin, or Saddam.
Historical metahpors are important and its valid to learn from historical patterns. That said noone was gebneralizing...we were being specific to war policy.
She is right when she criticizes the Pakistani government, and at the same time this weekend she said the she didn't think Abdullah withdrawing from the election invalidates it. wtf?
It's a clusterfuck. I don't think "the mission" can be accomplished. The British couldn't do it. The Russians couldn't do it. We need to get out. We can't afford to fight these kinds of wars moving forward. Both conflicts we've engaged in because of 9/11 have cost us magnitudes of order more than 9/11 itself did.
Saudi Arabia and Turkey are certainly part of Asia. Now, if you count the North African countries as part of the Middle East then those people obviously wouldn't be Asian.
I guess my point is that there's no distinction that Afghanistan and Pakistan have that would make them distinctly Asian, but not also middle-eastern any more there would be for Iran or any of the other Asian based Middle Eastern states.
hey just seen ur comment... been in places w little or no internet lol and havent been studying for real for a while or following news like i used to........ + this net sucks too takes ten mins to upload two mins of video :PP anyway u know i belive the pakistani president is being honest man i believe he falls asleep every day whishing to god those nuts would just be whipped off the face of the earth its very difficult for a undeveloped country
to control the far off and/or pratically inacessible places of its territory stalinist russia could barely do it post perestroika russia simply couldnt (many republics of the federal system became tecnically independent in the 90s) etc in africa there are HUGE aereas of no mans land everywhere hence the number of guerrilas overthroing of power and etc latin america is another case in point etc etc well anyway lol good to see u man good to be made to think lol
Anthrax Wall Street Art students 9/11 snow job Chicken hawks Moving company Propaganda media DNC stealth neocons Anti-semitism accusers The chosen the superior 2-3% of the US population Extortion blackmail bribery By deception ye shall wage war AIPAC's Israel-first dual-nationals For profit NotFederal NoReserve scam ~ Words are plentiful deeds are precious
The US cannot hope to establish a legitimate Republic government in Afghanistan when they don't have support of the people. Karzai has proven to his own people to be a crook
And this CANNOT be a unilateral effort. Neither politically, nor in terms of resources. The U.S needs foreign allies to jump in. That is something they do not have
In short, the only logical option is to gtfo. America has a lot of house cleaning to do before it can deem itself the cornerstone of representative government
i make this statement in the purest sense of seriousness. As long as Obama is in office the level of chaos will increase. As a result the people will panic and want Obama impeached. Once that happens the people will want someone who can give them the answer to their panic. As a result America will do what it is famous for. I am not insane, however history tends to repeat itself. And by that i mean that one tragedy will follow after the next and ultimately Hatred will focus towards the states 10X
okay, idiot. This isn't an "Obama" issue. You paint Obama out to be this evil man when the truth is simply that he is indecisive. The only people who "panic" over Obama are blatant racists and intellectual zombies (not mutually exclusive).
By all means, disagree with Obama. But don't start toting this whole "Obama=Hitler" crap.
no no no, Obama is not eveil, sorry i gave you that impression.
I will state this clearly, Obama is apathetic, he is too afraid to get his hands stained with blood. After all if he was man enough to do what must be done he would be viewed as an evil person. However the masses fail to understand that the problems they face are due to their own ignorance. Bush and Obama are not to blame for America's reputation. Its the un informed masses of society who become the racist zombies.
after 100 years of mental retardation society has become reliant and dendant on people telling them what to do. SImply because thinking is not part of productive society is it?
Those who claim something to be good or bad simply are too lazy to admit the truth. Silence= compliance. My argument for Obama is that he seeks diplomacy with people who live in a culture where violence and stupidity reign. THe last bastion of the ancient world if you will
yes, i am finding it more and more disheartening watching the diplomatic games being played. at first, it seemed, obama was putting it out there, putting out an open hand so that we could say "hey we tried." but now, its unclear. russia was clear, they won't participate in sanctions because they are ineffective. so are incentives. there is a hidden message from russia. they know what works.
exactly. However unfortunately due to our freedom of opinion, interpretation of their method will result in people labelling such method as evil. And unfortunately Alex Jones recieves more publicity. And thus his conspiracy rants will increase.
heres a free quote
"There is no right or left, there is no right or wrong. All there is is choice. And choice alone is the true reason for Humanity to exist outside of animal behaviors. That is why humans in a way will always be divided."
well i think it goes more local than that. i honestly do believe we have wired conflicts. we are social creatures with the instinct to coordinate, langauage is an example of one of those instincts, but at the same time were are wired to compete, survive. these conflicts will always create divide, its literally wired into our nervous systems.
well the idea of free will is arguable, at best. there is nothing empirical to postulate choice as anymore than a product of cause and effect. sometimes conveniant reasons are conveniant because the are based in empiricism, the idea of complete free will is not based in anything. human are born with instinctual behaviors that have nothing to do with what they are taught. sociobiology is the wave of the future, not utopian visions.
Very well spoken! This is solid military doctrine, both strategically and tactically. Wars are won by sending my brothers and I to fight, not sitting around waiting for a solution. Thank you for speaking the truth to the idiots of America who think we should do nothing, and that it will be resolved by such inaction. God bless you, that you may always have true words upon your heart!
time out. my point is this. he has two choices, let you fellas do your job or get you out of harms way. this middle of the road shit will get you killed.
he seems to be as insular as bush lately. it bothers me he is surrounding himself with yes men. searching out those who agree with you is what we did for eight years. he needs to listen to those that understand. joe biden and john kerry know nothing about occupation. the death numbers are doubling per month in afghanistan. obama is making rumsfeld look smart. not a good thing. rumsfeld is an idiot.
Some voters are ignorant in the first place and after a while they realize again that the president is the same as the others only using a different technique to convince people.
Bush was considered a "good" president and now he is "bad". He was not the problem. Misinformed people are, because they voted for him. Suddenly after their hopeless horizon was darkened and full of self-deserved regret, he was the evil incarnate. That's bullcrap. People are just stupid and it's those people who are....
If only national defense could be run like community organizing. Then obama would know exactly what to do. Unfortunately being a world leader requires experience above and beyond community organizing and being black. Hopefully some of the other 50% of this country puts down the kookaid and comes to term with that fact.
It's classic corporate america management strategy: waffle, then blame the people under you when it doesn't work out. Too bad Obama's not part of Carlysle group or Blackwater. He could "contract" it out rather than use the military. ;)
Damn... All I can say is a paid group of mercaneries WILL fire on anyone they feel like and therefore could be used on US soil to avoid having the military "shoot its own people." This is a dangerous fucking game being played. No wonder Walmart ran out of bullets.
i would have quit my job and campaigned for colin powell. we needed him eight years ago. i understand why he never ran, but i am dissapointed he took the high road.
coulda woulda shoulda. one statement does not make a good president. i think she's fine where she is. we did get her, just in better all around position methinks.
Well, no, battim. I'm saying most people voted for a man with no legislative experience and a handful of promises, and a let's see what happens attitude. I know he still has three more years. It's not over yet, but it's over.
his legislative experience is not whatconcerns me. his lack of real world decision making does. it amazed me when folks said "well if he can run a good campaign he can run the free world" that commentary simply astonished me, as if being the executive of the USA and running a campaign are synonymous resume builders. to this day, it astounds me.
Well, I agree with you on that. It was a sentiment shared by an assured and hopeful mob. You could hardly hope to dissuade others with thoughtful rhetoric. People simply wanted change. Let's hope he can turn this around.
Good point about relating it to Vietnam. I agree with you 100%. I think the soldiers should get out of both Iraq and Afghanistan. And, if they don't trust Pakistan, it makes no sense to give that country any sort of weapon.

and yes exactly because we dont invade anyone we cannot control everything. i agree theres a lot more we could do; we do hav problems of conflict of interesses between different countries. On the international field and we just cant pull it together, probably wont be able to in the near future.
the relationship w russia is a classic example. countries like germany are deeply involved w russia more generally deeply respect it. (countries like the uk are less complacent).
madbcc 2 years ago
And we should respect cause after all it does hav 160 million people and can be a very powerful democratic ally who can expand democratic influences all the way to central asia and china. Anyway i agree we should do a lot more to protect georgia; about ukraine we just have to continue helping it in a gradual process. the important thing is that both countries continue on a path for democracy and a better future for themselves.
madbcc 2 years ago
And of course that part of that process is to back up russia road to democracy. Now u dont do that by invading the country or going to a G8 and say of but putin is so mean; u do that by understanding how the state is working why is it working like that what are its internal dynamics and what influence we can have where how etc.
madbcc 2 years ago
anyway im tired and not making the best points this video is about afganistan and the comment was about that kind of nation building. Weve done better in every country mentioned so far without invading them then uve done w irak or afg. Thats not obamas fault, let the man breathe. And pulling out is not an option I believe.
madbcc 2 years ago
well afghanistan is a nato effort. so the EU is involved.

+ read some stuff on the crisis ull learn that the european central bank has been doing the right moves all along and that ur federal reserve or whatever and ur finantial policies that got us into this mess
madbcc 2 years ago
I've read a lot. Currency valuations are not all there is to running an economy. There is negative growth. You failed at the crisis. Ignore that...lol. I know the eu does nothing wrpong. Lol
battim 2 years ago
if thats for me well u hav very poor memory
madbcc 2 years ago
again the only thing the world can learn from europe is how not to nation build. europe has made of a mess of all four corners of the globe.
battim 2 years ago
again this is not the 19th century, this is not even 1945. nation building has been an issue since colonization, but it has become important to the west only since the cold war. again, we were quick to get it and act accordingly. probably cause we knew from experience that were not able to be on top forever and control everything always etc. maybe its only natural that america too let its illusion of omnipotence get into its way for a while, but well u did hav our example and should know better.
madbcc 2 years ago
funny thing is americans understand the mistakes that are still being made, as opposed to europeans who think they have the world figured out. thats what makes it so funny. your trade deficits are ridiculous and the xenophobia that exists in europe is at new heights. we know we have issues, maybe one day you'll realize you do too. in big ways.
battim 2 years ago
"americans make the right choice, after theyve tried every wrong one" (churchill). sorry but thats basically ur thing, much more than us. i mean u voted for bush twice for christ sake. lol. + in some areas we simply hav more experience.
our trade dicits fall into european standards that are simply waaaaay healthier than urs, sorry. i mean lol how much are u owing china? isnt ur "owing" allowment policies that created those imobiliray and etc bubles there i mean the crisis? jesus
madbcc 2 years ago
no doubt ive said in many videos that the usa is an adolescent nation in many regards. i dont disagree, in fact, some of the things i meant that can be learned from america is how NOT to do things. its still learning. we owe china quite a bit, but their currency is tied to ours. the realiationship between us and china is much healthier than the one euopre shares with them. thats off topic.
battim 2 years ago
even afganistan was us s idea. anyway were all still learning; ive always noted for example that without clinton the balkans right now would be in an undescribable situation; america did what we probably never would be able to. but well. thanks for answering; all the best ))
madbcc 2 years ago
oh trust me we have issues. we have a problem handling immigration but worse we have a problem handling each other etc animosities always present + all the areas with weak and unstable states + the communist and fascist inheritances etc
itsd just very complicated and trust me we do realize it lol we realize it only too well
madbcc 2 years ago
and ok ur right were not awesome at dealing w these issues but i know were better than u guys. of course in later generations theyre gonna look at all of us like fairly primitive etc but in our common primitiveness europe pretty much kicks *ss lol or has done so in the bush years. I dont think im being arrogant here—I mean the us doesnt even have geography lsats. Jesus. But I also think that w Clinton and now w obama u guys rock too I mean at least u know that u dont know, just like us etc
madbcc 2 years ago
and i was talking about credit and interest rates.
madbcc 2 years ago
european banks are overleveraged and undercapitalized, far more so than american banks. there is a significant concern among economists the world over for europe because of this. we have issues with a currency crash and commodity inflation. unlike you i see weaknesses in both camps. overconfidence never bodes well for europe.
battim 2 years ago
now i dont know if our banks are those things im no economist i do know that weve followed far healthier policies imposed by the ECB and that included far higher interest rates than in the US. its no coincidence that the more f**** countries in europe were the ones not in the EU (specially iceland+switzerland).
and ive always seen weaknesses in both camps. i just believe that we are better at state building than u guys, simply cause we understand how to contribute to it without any invasion.

Note to KiheiLawyer:
Obama is more qualified to be president than the previous corporate HOOD ORNAMENT was. Maybe that ain't sayin' MUCH, but he is eminently more qualified than that sock-puppet...but then so is his kids' DOG...
Note to Tim:
Colin Powell got out when he realized he'd been lied to and had BOUGHT the TRIP. If he could be fooled by the NeoCons, he probably felt his career was washed up anyway. Don't take it too hard - yes, he took the high road....he did the right thing.
TheMercilessEye 2 years ago
What I think should happen:
Obama decides to call it a day, and pulls the troops out of Afghanistan, leaving a cadre of 'advisors' to make sure the Afghan military is as well-versed in advanced tactics and nefarious tricks as our own military.
What I think WILL happen:
Obama decides to leave the troops in there because his cojones CAN'T do the 'grinch heart' thing, and as casualties continue to mount, continues to try to turn the public's attention to domestic matters... unsuccessfully...
TheMercilessEye 2 years ago
Early on, I was starry-eyed about Obama....yes, I had my own 'moment of weakness'...a sort of tomfool IDEALISM...pffft. Being an ex-Chicagoan myself, I should've known better. More and more, he's showing signs that the job and the SYSTEM are 'getting to him' and he's becoming, with increasing rapidity, a 'political creature' in the modern sense. Here's a lil' eye-opener I stumbled across regarding one of his field trips: watch?v=ZGyx2k_yS7Y&feature=response_watch

Mrmikeshelton 2 years ago
VERY WELL SAID!! I could not agree with you more on this one. Hillary was right...Obama is not qualified to be President. Everything that he ISN'T doing is proof. When will the "people" stop saying "well Obama inherited this and that" and start holding this gut accountable? Yes, we need a President dictator, but he should at least dictate.
KiheiLawyer 2 years ago
well he certainly isn't doing much. been a year now since he was elected and i havent seen much to show for it, except an EU wary of him, a middle east giggling at him and china and russia testing him. its been a year, he stands on his own accomplishments, and those are few and far between.
battim 2 years ago
Well now wait, he instructed the DoJ to not enforce Federal marijuana laws, then in the next breath told the DoJ to fiercely defend DOMA related lawsuits...because although he claims to say he doesn't agree with it, we must respect it while it's a law and therefore enforce it. SAY HUH?

before i forget wonderful job on the informative video Battim.
And...The Obama administration has already made its choice hasn't it?
Syranus66 2 years ago
has it?
battim 2 years ago
this is a very grey area in accordance with our idealogy isn't it? When people of greater ability of manipulating facts thrust people into paranoia then people become unable to discern truth from false. and i belive it is those people torn apart by meangless fear that shall make my prediction come true (good job Alex Jones for damning humanity)
Syranus66 2 years ago
alex jones is a small part of it. glenn becks babble the world over. some included in intellectual circles like george soros, shih in china.
battim 2 years ago
If the many of you lack the ability to understand me then i shall help you better understand.
Obama has no backbone.
Hilary Clinton is actually done somthing useful for once.
And some Americans have the tendancy to become paranoid due to the rise of Islam. And the threat they pose.
Syranus66 2 years ago
i dont find islam a threat or something to fear. i find it to be a stone aged theology that eventually reason will kill. until such time i can only pity those who are bound by its limitations.
battim 2 years ago
its only a threat in the minds of those under the paranoia that they are the boogimen of the states.
However on a logical note their stone age idealogy will provoke another 9/11.
In the U.K the fear of Islam has paralized poloticians and such. And now are afraid of death threats generated from ongoing muslim riots.
Syranus66 2 years ago
i think eventually it will be bigger than a 9/11. revolution is iran, showdowns in israel. the uk should destroy any movement whose ambitions are to violate human rights in the name of a fairy tale deity.
battim 2 years ago
Obama is starting to remind me of Hitler, oh not in the usual sense some fringe element might spout, just in the fact that he was also full of promise and did nice out of the gate, but later in the race he is making lots of mistakes and not listening to the real experts. Hitler didn't listen to his generals either.
Funding to the Pakis could very well be used against us in the next terror attack, if you believe the surface of all this and don't look any deeper.
AlexGrim 2 years ago
Holy crap you're stupid. What about Elmo? Does he remind you of Hitler? Or what about Mickey Mouse? I bet abortionists remind you of Hitler.
Funding the Pakis?? Do you even know where Pakistan is on the map?
jasonpalth 2 years ago
Your comparisons of Elmo to Hitler and such are lame, don't lump me with all the other nuts that paint Hitler staches on Obama pictures. Settle down, take a breathe, read some history and get back to me when you aren't watching Elmo, ok?
"OMG! Did he just ATTACK OBAMA calling him Hitler!!? I have to put this to an end, with my stupid crap that makes no sense!!" Really, you'll laugh at yourself, when you understand how stupid you just were.
Tim knows, I know where Pakistan is on the map.
AlexGrim 2 years ago
Oh. My comparisons of Elmo to Hitler are lame huh? Really? THAT's lame? Not say, comparing Barack Obama to a fascist warlord in Germany? These things are the same thing to you?
And if you knew where Pakistan is on the map, you would not have had to have someone back you up. Please, that's just sad.
jasonpalth 2 years ago
i think jason he was trying to point out that hitler started out with the hope and promise and hearts of the people. i don't recall him making a metaphor to how it will end but the process in which he is seeking advice. like bush, obama does seem to be listening to yes men.
battim 2 years ago
Fact, Hitler made many military mistakes, cuz he kept ignoring the great advice his generals were giving him. Just like Tim has pointed out Obama is doing now. Can you see that similarity? Why do you strike me as some DNC retard, who sees Hilter and Obama in the same paragraph and responds the same way to the situation, without truly comprehending the message?
I had a world map on the wall when I was 5, I remembered much. I've played alot of RISK. I remember my geography classes. You're sad.
AlexGrim 2 years ago
the risk comment made me laugh. sorry.
battim 2 years ago
Hey, RISK narrows the region down, it isn't exact, but if you know your map you can tell what countries are in each region. I don't know every country on the map, just most of them. That said, I could have left RISK out of my comment, it's too risky.
AlexGrim 2 years ago
So Hitler and Obama are the only two people who have made military mistakes? Not Lyndon Johnson? He doesn't remind you of Hitler? What about Nixon, who ended the Vietnam war? He didn't listen to his generals. Is he like Hitler too?
First, the only person who should be compared to Hitler is Hitler. Second, you have to put the "great" advice of the generals in perspective. Their job is to look at this from a purely militaristic standpoint. And for US to "win," it has to be about more than that.
jasonpalth 2 years ago
You seem to have this Hitler hang up. "Compare Obama to any other failed military strategist that was head of state, BUT NOT HITLER!!!". That's what I'm getting from you. Nixon is ok with you, but not Hitler!! OMG!! not Hitler.
Tim understood my comment and you don't see him bitchin, "Now Alex, you're gunna have to choose somebodyelse, I won't stand for any Hitler is like Obama bs".
I'm sorry Jason, I should have realized that my comment would only get the Obama nuts in a frenzy.
AlexGrim 2 years ago
yeah maybe other folks in history are better suited for the metaphor.

well certainly other metaphors could have applied. I think maybe Mao and Stalin Milosevich the khans, maybe a few others are in the same catagory. hitler was an evil man, but he was one of many.
battim 2 years ago
Most only remember Hitler though. People don't know Stalin or Mao as much as Hitler.
AlexGrim 2 years ago
All I'm saying is, why compare people? I thought it was stupid when people called Bush Hitler, and It's stupid when people call Obama Hitler. I think it would be stupid to compare Charles Manson to Hitler.
Essentially what you're doing with this Hitler speech, is you're taking something you don't like about someone, and then forcing a completely irrational perception of who they are.
Kim Jong is a tyrant douchebag. But I'm not going to compare him to Stalin, or Saddam.
Don't generalize.
jasonpalth 2 years ago
Historical metahpors are important and its valid to learn from historical patterns. That said noone was gebneralizing...we were being specific to war policy.
battim 2 years ago
but thats how polotics works doesn't it? throw crap at each other until the other loses
Syranus66 2 years ago

battim 2 years ago
She is right when she criticizes the Pakistani government, and at the same time this weekend she said the she didn't think Abdullah withdrawing from the election invalidates it. wtf?
It's a clusterfuck. I don't think "the mission" can be accomplished. The British couldn't do it. The Russians couldn't do it. We need to get out. We can't afford to fight these kinds of wars moving forward. Both conflicts we've engaged in because of 9/11 have cost us magnitudes of order more than 9/11 itself did.
lazlo5149 2 years ago
if we need to get out, he needs to pull the string. he is looking for a middle road. that is dangerous.
battim 2 years ago
A couple dozen nukes could probably solve this.. too bad people value the lives of Mid-Easterners

afghans and pakistanis are asian.
battim 2 years ago
All middle-eastern people are asian.
lazlo5149 2 years ago
not quite. saudi arabia is not asia. turkey and egypt not asia. that said racially they are caucasian, not mongloid.
battim 2 years ago
Saudi Arabia and Turkey are certainly part of Asia. Now, if you count the North African countries as part of the Middle East then those people obviously wouldn't be Asian.
I guess my point is that there's no distinction that Afghanistan and Pakistan have that would make them distinctly Asian, but not also middle-eastern any more there would be for Iran or any of the other Asian based Middle Eastern states.
lazlo5149 2 years ago
racially we were speaking of. and contitental divide they really aren't. different plates. but i get your point.

America has a lot of house cleaning to do before it can deem itself the cornerstone of representative government
jasonpalth 2 years ago
Then he should gtfo. Obama doesn't want that
battim 2 years ago
i make this statement in the purest sense of seriousness.
Syranus66 2 years ago
okay, idiot. This isn't an "Obama" issue. You paint Obama out to be this evil man when the truth is simply that he is indecisive. The only people who "panic" over Obama are blatant racists and intellectual zombies (not mutually exclusive).
By all means, disagree with Obama. But don't start toting this whole "Obama=Hitler" crap.
jasonpalth 2 years ago
no no no, Obama is not eveil, sorry i gave you that impression.
Syranus66 2 years ago
after 100 years of mental retardation society has become reliant and dendant on people telling them what to do. SImply because thinking is not part of productive society is it?
Syranus66 2 years ago
Those who claim something to be good or bad simply are too lazy to admit the truth. Silence= compliance. My argument for Obama is that he seeks diplomacy with people who live in a culture where violence and stupidity reign. THe last bastion of the ancient world if you will
Syranus66 2 years ago
yes, i am finding it more and more disheartening watching the diplomatic games being played. at first, it seemed, obama was putting it out there, putting out an open hand so that we could say "hey we tried." but now, its unclear. russia was clear, they won't participate in sanctions because they are ineffective. so are incentives. there is a hidden message from russia. they know what works.
battim 2 years ago
Syranus66 2 years ago
well i think it goes more local than that. i honestly do believe we have wired conflicts. we are social creatures with the instinct to coordinate, langauage is an example of one of those instincts, but at the same time were are wired to compete, survive. these conflicts will always create divide, its literally wired into our nervous systems.
battim 2 years ago
we choose to allow or not allow animal behaviors to dictate our actions. We use these things when its conveniant for us.
Humans are taught control. However Humans would rather lash out because its easier and it makes us feel better
Syranus66 2 years ago
well the idea of free will is arguable, at best. there is nothing empirical to postulate choice as anymore than a product of cause and effect. sometimes conveniant reasons are conveniant because the are based in empiricism, the idea of complete free will is not based in anything. human are born with instinctual behaviors that have nothing to do with what they are taught. sociobiology is the wave of the future, not utopian visions.

Some voters are ignorant in the first place and after a while they realize again that the president is the same as the others only using a different technique to convince people.
Bush was considered a "good" president and now he is "bad". He was not the problem. Misinformed people are, because they voted for him.
