@TheHEADonWHEELS Define better. Mack compares both the .408 CheyTac and the .416 Barrett on Future Weapons, so if you're curious, check that out.
To give you a basic summary of what he concludes, the round finds a good balance between the bigger, but heavier .50 BMG and the lighter, but weaker .408 Cheytac.
@vprimo0052 It's in the engineering of the gun. Not enough space on youtube to talk about it all, but if you don't already know how the gun is built just search it up online. If they did the same thing with shotguns, the fuc'n 3.5-inch wouldn't kick so godforsakenly hard either.
@vprimo0052 muzzle breaks would suprise you with their effectiveness, even something like a .50bmg has almost no recoil because of the massive muzzlebreak
Because the muzzle was designed so gas would accelerate the barrel forward to reduce recoil, there are springs to reduce recoil and there was a bipod...
only hold 1 cartridge ?

Very nice vprimo! Please give specs. Looks like a Barrett 99 but I can't seem to figure out what scope brand that is. Maybe a Millett?
