Make sure that you are not tanned. Make sure that you have not shaved for 2 or 3 days. Minimize pain, by coming in 1 week after your period, women tend to be less sensitive at that time, then around their menses.

No. If anything, it feels like a rubber band is snapping. The more concentrated and dark the hair is, the more energy that is absorbed from the laser.
