I am a Christian, but I know people can twist Scripture or use it too much, however I know that the Bible mentions quite a few verses about life, so the Bible has a lot to do with prolife.

Ransome, clearly reluctant to be on camera, relates how Gosnell’s work ended up making her so ill that she had to have open-heart surgery and disabled her.

@CatholicCoatHanger What does this have to do with anything? Why are people so sympathetic to the nature of illegal abortions. A woman who dies trying to kill her unborn child would get the same reaction from me as a woman who died trying to poison her teenage son.

@CatholicCoatHanger I never said embryos are children, I said they were unborn children, there's a difference. No, they're technically not 'children' by the generally accepted definition of the word, but they are human life and of equal importance to any child or adult. The embryo is also not morally superior to that of the mother, it is of EQUAL importance, and any women who engages in sex willingly understands she may create this life, why should we extend their rights to choose past that?

Motherhood should never be punishment for having sex.

Forcing a child to be born to punish its mother is the ultimate form of child abuse.

Responsibility means making choices that reflect your level of maturity and readiness to bear and raise children. you're desperately lost in your own argument like a typical pro-life nutter with a crucifix stuck up his ass.

@perfectbark Real responsibility is not getting pregnant when you don't want to be, abortion is the legal immunity from prosecution for killing your own child so that you may escape responsibility.  You are once again slinging words meaninglessly, hoping that some may stick, but I'm afraid if you want to be correct, you'll have to explain how I am lost in my own argument. There is also the question of explaining your ignorance to my lack of religion, even after I've made it incredibly obvious.

You are attempting to play games by putting words in my mouth, using the word consequences carries the connotation of punishment, and implies I am suggesting women be punished for having sex.

When I was reading it I noticed you used the word antediluvian yet again there, but as you've used it in the context of describing the religious myths, you're actually suggesting they were all in fact written before one of them took place. I'm sure you can see the problem with this logic, and I suggest you change it if you wish to maintain your adequately educated delusion in order to belittle others..

@vesiu5 If you want to prohibit abortion you must be willing to bear the consequences. Jesus scorned those who put burdens on others which they themselves will not lift a finger to carry. If you claim the right to prohibit abortion you should ensure adoption for all children who are -born to parents unprepared for parenting - born to parents who cannot afford children - genetically anomalous - developmentally retarded. Don't be a hypocrite.
