ok, I have some questions. I have a pirate version of the game, can I still host the game with this method? After I installed everything, I start the game using garena and after typing in the console just net_start, because I don't know any maps, so I just create the game manualy, for example play campaign-play with friends-create lobby, after all that, it says creating game and after that it says there are some connection problems and that I should check? So now what?

@igor0091 you can host it just fine. don't create through the campaign thing, you have to type in net_start and then space and then you should be able to seep map names, i haven't done it in so long i'm not 100% but hit space and maybe type map to see a list of the maps to choose from, hope this helps

@DeamonCyborg OK, I managed somehow, i don't need net start, I just type in the map name, and it starts the game by itself, then I type in net status and I can see my ip. I gave the Ip to my friend and it worked, he joined the game, no problem. Thanks for your help! ;)

using garena makes it so you don't have to run steam so i don't know why you are trying to run steam and garena, if you want to use steam use that this is just another way to play the game

the only thing i could think of would to check your internet connection, your problem is kind of odd, your the only one to have this problem that i know of and i've never experienced that.

erm well i m using ripped skullptura l4d v1.0.1.5 latest version but when i load map_l4d_.... for coop it gets stuck at the beginning and it wont load the console.i opened the task manager and it says its not responding plz help@!

I would first make sure you typed in the bootstrap correctly and also that you are setting up the game correctly. If that doesnt work then you will probably want to either reinstall garena or the game itself. I don't know about skulptura so those are my gueses, hope this helps

Well you are using ganera, so once you setup you game, you need to go to you game console type in net_status and then it will give you the ip of your game, write it down copy it whatever but then you alt tab and spam it in gamera.

I would check your internet connection....also i have found out recently that my bootstrap was wrong as you can see through the other comments make sure you change that and that might fix your problem

The exe can be from a shortcut or from the game itself which should be in your program files or if you got a ripped version wherever the game folder is....sorry i cant really help with that than what i already gave you.
