  • the Vacuum coffee maker was invented in germany in the late 1800

  • I was wondering how the water entered the top, so glad to you talked me through the process.

  • with the price, i will just stick with my french press...

  • It looks like the heating source is "like" the Glass Stove Tops.

One could use an element like that to heat. Those replacements aren't much if your search enough for it.

Good luck. One day I'll make one but money right meow is tight.

  • From my understanding you can buy a single Halogen light around 75-100 watts and use it. I can't find the link to the info I found but I believe that's what it said. I'm assuming a larger wattage bulb would heat it faster... But I know those put out some heat. Anyone tried this?

  • It can make coffee in under one minute, if you disregard the grind time and boil time...

  • The 3-burner version costs $11,000 .... time to make a single-burner version. Some U.S. company should make one and offer it for $1,000. I'd buy one!

  • this looks like how an expression machine works imo O_o... without that light thingy heating it.. its just another heating element..

  • where can I buy one of these?

  • Where do you buy one of these?

  • @catsthyme

I know it's a long time coming waiting for a reply but I thought I'd add it incase someone wants the info.

Everything you see here can be bought at a Lab Store "BioChemist, Chemist" A link to a Full kit which I wouldn't buy because its about $195. LINK to Main Site: avogadroslabsupply

    You have to try this!

  • @417musick7 no shit. we want to know where to buy the halogen heaters, not the pyrex of butane burners

  • Last guy said "Oishii desu."

    Translation:

    "Anything free tastes good."

    ^_^

  • @allgoo19 Where did you get that from?

  • true dat

  • "unlike the paper drip method, there are various things you can choose: the amount of water, the amount of coffee, the bean grinding method and how long you want it to brew."

Er, well, you can do those things with a percolator, except perhaps the last(though you can take out the jug and wait before putting it back).

  • No, with a drip coffee, if you want less coffee, you have to grind finer, otherwise it will be too fast. More coffee in it will affect the flow rate too, so you must adjust the grind. Siphon coffee you can use any grind, and brew for as long as the grinds need to be brew with any amount of water. Paper drip you need the right grind for the right flow rate, for 3-4 minutes, siphon coffee can take 45 second brew, or 5 minutes.

  • wow it a longer time to drink it then to brew it
