It is about time it arrives in Georgia. I'm from PA and live in Savannah and we just got it here last week and I've been drinkin' the hell out of it. God Bless Yuengling!
The name Yuengling is actually derived from the German name Jϋngling which means young man or 'teenager'. This is pronounced 'Yoongling'. I wonder why Yuengling is pronounced 'Yingling'.
Unless breweries like Budweiser or Coors, which are selling beers all over the country (and around the world), Yuenling is only selling its products in 10 States in the east coast of the country. They still have a long way to get a share of the market in US.
Yuengling is now the second-biggest American-owned brewery after Boston Brewing Co. (Samuel Adams).
Anheuser-Busch is now Belgian-owned (InBev), while Coors is now Canadian-owned (Molson-Coors). Miller is now owned by an English company, SABMiller, which has its original roots in South Africa.
Yuengling is under the 5th generation of family control, with the 6th generation waiting in the wings.
Yuengling is the oldest brewery in the U.S., operating since 1829.
that was fucking great

There's only 1 thing that sucks about Yuengling- it's not available where I live.

I don't know. That aggravates me actually. It's an Anglisized German word, pronounced the same.

I love this! I've been bummed for the last 8 years not being able to get Yuengling in Seattle. I was raised on it back home in PA.

I drive two hours to the New York border to get it.
