I don't know what else to say cept that your layout totally blows my MIND! I've never seen anything like it. The only thing that could possibly top it, in my eyes, would be a model of the Reading's Ninth Street Branch into Reading Terminal (I'm a Reading fan). The work and the level of detail that you've put into this is absolutely incredible. You have most definitely raised the bar for layouts. WOW!
Well, there is a guy in South Philly that has had a massive layout for years, your's is beautifully desingned as well. The one in South Philly has an HO Elevated and subways, he has a multi level layout, it is freaky to see, the trains borough down beneath the layout, his sons now carry on the tradition, some of his cars run on third rails to, you keep on modeling, and try to add South Philly ok, it is not Philadelphia without South Philly.
I wish I had enough space to Include South Philly. I would build the vet with the Eagles playing the Cowboys beating them 42-0 !! make that 84-0 hahaha

Well, I get most of my stuff for stratch built buildings from Home Depot and Micheals/ACmore. For plastics and Acrylics I get them from a suplier here in Philly .You can buy 4x8 sheets of plastic/styrene for 30 bucks. They also sell mirrored and tinted acrylic/ lexan plastic cheap!
Beyond increadible. It almost brings tears to my eyes. I am so lost for words. If Hollywood still needed model builders you would have a career. Thnaks for sharing this. It is so motivating.
