Thank you! I've been knitting for years - and just discovered a mistake I've been making all this time, just by watching you knit slowly :o) I've been twisting the wool round the wrong way for "purl two together"!

wow that is beautiful . the entire process is wonderful.. to make it easier to work in the round. use the Magic Loop method.. not sure if you were or not.. but it makes it SO easy to do hats , socks sleeves.

That hat looks too big for his head but it's good. Nice work and I hope to get better at my knitting so I can start making some real stuff some day. :)
