Good man. I'm 51 and I can tell you that he came out of the starting gate like a bat out of hell. He actually was The Rocky Horror Picture Show two years earlier. The second album came a few years later after Meat simply burned himself out. It would be quite awhile before he regained his stature. But this debut classic is one of the seminal works of it's time.

This is one of my dad's favourite songs by one of his favourite bands, and I remember many hours of being stuck in the car on busy, scorching motorways on family holidays with this blaring on the radio on quick rotation. You'd think I'd hate it after that, but in no small part because of my dad and those past, current and future family memories, I can't help but love this song. It just makes me smile. Awesome.

This is one of my dad's favourite songs by one of his favourite bands, and I remember many hours of being stuck in the car on busy, scorching motorways on family holidays with this blaring on the radio on quick rotation. You'd think I'd hate it after that, but in no small part because of my dad and those past, current and future family memories, I can't help but love this song. It just makes me smile. Awesome.

Lady Gaga, waka waka and the rest of todays radiohits maybe good for a couple of listenings but then they get so boring that you want to through up if you have to hear the shit one more time. I was so afraid when I listen to Bat out of hell for the first 100 times that I stop listen because maybe I get tired of it. But now when I've heard it more then 1000 times it's only get better, such a deep in the music. Please, inform the todays youth of this music. What a shame if they miss it.
