Basically, Jack was adopted by Harper and Camille Deveraux, Camille died and Harper re-married Anjelica when Jack was a child.
Basically, I think, the reason they came up with Camille in the first place was so that Anjelica didn't know about Jack being adopted, the revelation of which Jack sort of took as a betrayal. If Anjelica had been in on it, that would've involved him being mad at her.
Other than that, I dunno why they'd have Camille exist.
Well, yeah -- but also, Anjelica was having affairs, and became pregnant by Justin. The reason Harper and Camille adopted Jack was because Harper was sterile, but Anjelica didn't know this and it was an interesting twist. Harper always knew her baby wasn't his. I miss Harper and Anjelica ... loved them before their story went to hell.
Thank you so much for the Deborah Adair video. She was the BEST Kate! I miss her businesswoman appeal, power suits, meetings, and how she was so worried and obsessed with her public image.
I prefer this Kate! I keep hearing Mathew is coming back again as Jack but it never hapens
