well he didn't block him form the back because 1st of all he hit them from the side and also even if he did, he is defense so he's actually allowed to do it. only offense gets that penality which is called clipping.

I am hedging a bet that your not in the NFL. When you play 3 positions in HS it is far different then doing the same and laying big hits in div 1 college football. I played many positions on Def as well as punted, but when I got to college I was simply a safety, and subbed at receiver in the event of an injury. but had I played on a Division 1 team I wouldn't have been given that opportunity.

That's a smart play rather then a truthful one. If you even touch the kicker on a field goal, it's a 15 yard penalty. So, you can do that and get a 15 yard boost.

May be smart, but it's still not right. That rule is to protect the kickers...not for them to abuse it. You know kickers are very vulnerable while they're kicking, and I would really try not to hit one...but if they do the acting job (when I've tried hard not to hit him), and get me a penalty, I'll definately make sure I deserve the next one.
