@cdawg1113 the rev limiter is for the tranny, it can't handle spinning much more than 9k. The engine can easily handle much more.

I think your confused, the 1.3 rotary is only 2 stroke, so that means that it's equivalent to a 2.6 4 stroke. they don't make a 2.6 renesis

All RX8 are 1.3L ! I think in Europe, there are two versions : LP (192hp) or HP (231hp).

American RX8s can get an automatic gearbox, with about 210hp. That's all I know about that fantastic car which we've owned during 4 years.
