I thought the hanging butterfly gardens was interesting too. I can hear the sound of those antique street cars rumbling down the street now, clang, clang. Great pictures.

You are right, it still looks pretty much the same as I remember it. I haven't been there since before Katrina. I used to live in Baton Rouge, so got down there every so often.. always took visiting friends down for a visit! :D I really miss the food!!! Thanks for the slideshow, it was wonderful!!
