  • WOW... I just about fell over in my chair. Your grocery prices are ridiculous, lol.

  • Great intro :)

  • @DEMCAD,, nice info,,very cuul,,,but isn't it suppose are b cold in alaska,,,so wat IS up wit da weather there?

  • I highly recommend the ready store (thereadystore) Dry foods, and MRE's. Real good stuff. Watch the video's too it should help.

  • To any of you who wants to listen to the truth, and even profit from it, then listen to what I have to tell you. I'm a scientist and 4 years ago I discovered that the Futures markets are all controlled by a computer, they do not trade. Now I teach this secret to anybody who wants to learn it at my website "Oil Trading Academy". But even if you don't want to learn this secret and profit from it, you can at least wake up to this fact that the Futures markets are all controlled by a computer.

  • I have used efoodsglobal they are the same people as efoodsdirect. They and I believe that food may become the currency of the future. It is a MLM and that turns some people off. I see it as a way of helping people quickly including yourself go to jeffood.myefoods.com

  • Dude you're hilarous! You have a great sense of humor and some good info. Loved the porn thing at the beginning funny funny!

  • Join the Revolution. Grow some weed. Marijuana = $, medicine, & barter currency!

  • $5.00 for a loaf of bread? Woah. It's like $2.30 for a wheat bread loaf around here. I know this is like a year ago, had the price gone up for groceries any?

  • Bandoliers are good from sportsmen guide.

  • I'll tell you why I know for certain America is headed for a third world existence.

All of America's problems can be fixed in a week

all the politicians need do is add tariffs to all imports. it would not be long for all the jobs to come rushing back.

But they will never do that because

America is slated for the third world

that's because the American middle class is

considered a threat to the existence of mankind. by the real powers that be, that run the world.

  • Because the American middle class is approximately 3% of the world's population

and uses 25% of the resources of the world in once use and then throw away items.

thats why Celente tells you it's coming

what you need is veg seeds .

What is coming will scare you soon

America will not ever be coming back

all of the job loses at GM and the steel mills of the NE are gone for ever

University grads will compete with illegals for flipping burgers jobs.

  • The Congress and your leaders are allowing America to slide the middle class of America must go as far as they are concerned

    and gone for good

the reason is they want to implement a socialist state for America.

and it is easier to manipulate a third world nation for this socialistic future of a one world Govt.

this is reality the last 50 years shows how they have done this we are at the precipice of the third world for America for ever .

    The middle class must go

  • Haha, nice disclaimer at the end.

  • what type of badolier are you looking for,, but anyway try samco global,, maine military natchez shooters supply the sportsmans guide they all have good stuff and are fast with orders.

  • Your food prices are similar to my area in rural north florida except the chips and soda which are significantly higher in Ketchikan.

  • Reginald, ANd I thought Australia was expensive, on Gerald Celente....the answer is not yet, on the food issue there must be food wholesalers who bring in bulk food to make local foods. Softcore porn, its nobodys business whether you buy or not. Privacy, respect and individual rights....protect them.

Yours in Freedom, Liberty and Sound Money

    MarkT

  • Was that $5 for a loaf of bread! That's a big Wow.

  • Reginald,

Gerald recently explained why some of the predictions he said did not come in fruition. It is because he can not predict how the gov't will intervene. It is almost impossible to predict what tricks the gov't will come up with and how they will effect the economy. In my area, it is very obvious commercial real estate is in a collapse. Pretty sad, much vacant bldgs. Gerald is right on track.

  • mhhh... expensive area

  • I like to see u go outside and talk and go to shops.

  • hi Reginald--greetings from south georgia--you think its hot there? try 92 with 90% humidity! prices in alaska are really high compared to here--2.69 for 2 liter soda? around 1.69 here. doritos 5.69 around 3.79 here and the 5.00 bread floored me! your grocery bill must be outrageus! by the way have recently ordered from e-foods direct--but have yet to try the food--just wanted to have some dehydrated food on hand in case of food shortages! shipped in 2-3 weeks by old dominion freight lines

  • The bread was a high end product. It was not a typical loaf of bread.

  • That was funny.

    The answer is....

    PSP + solar charger =

    Personal Stash of Porn

  • Thank you for making videos, Demcad.

  • We have your weather (highs in the sixties, low 70's during the day, low in the 40's / 50's at night) and we're not giving it back ! Bahahahaha

  • OJ at Ralphs in Calif is $1.49 a half Gal.

Milk is around $1.60 to $1.99 a gallon

Big bunch of bananas at Costco or Sams Club is around $1.32

The best and cheapest sour cream is the generic at WalMart tastes like Knudsen.

Watch for big sales on winnies this summer.

  • demcad what the f are you doing. You are in Ak. stop getting yourself all worked up about what could happen in the lower 48. A few supplies and some ammo just in case and you are all set, as for those of us near major east coast cities, that is another story. Learn how to dry salmon and store it, aren't they in season now?? Or you could can it with a pressure cooker. Hey whats the temp 65? boy thats a real cooker of a day, lol. Luv ya bro.

  • a bandolier ? rambo?

wtf those prices are ridiculous 5.69 for a bag of chips

    i thought 2.50 was high

$9.00 for a watermelon 3.00 on the roadside stand

    $0.67 for banana's walmart

2.80ish for bread and that is the expensive stuff

  • Similar prices here in Hawaii....

  • another good video. I like how you normalized the audio - now i don't get blasted with your intro theme song.

  • Yeah, I just have to remember.

  • Yeah, glad you adjusted the volume in theme song.

  • fucking expensive in your area. it's at LEAST twice the price. u should move to southern california. the stuff is cheap here but no job available. long beach port is the largest in west coast and many cargo ships carry cheap chinese imports to this place.

  • Move to southern CA? Wow, I know the women are beautiful down there, but I prefer a job over a woman.

  • Like your "regular guy" style, keep those videos coming!

  • You are the pornstar now... lol

  • Fishing Gear???? Solar power torch,(flashlight ) to you. You only need so many guns and bullets. Bury some bullets and a hand gun in case they get taken off you.

Bury it under the side of a concrete path so the cops dont find it with a thin steel rod by prodding the ground.

Garden seeds might be better than heaps of ammo.Give some to you neighbours if the shtf at the same time so they dont steal your plants.

  • wow man if our prices were that high in niagara falls we would be hijacking the delivery trucks on the highway. guess theres a benifit living in one of the poorest regions of america, our food is about half the cost of yours but the living standards are maybe 10 no 100 times worse than yours

  • WOW ---- Prices in the grocery store seemed pretty high to me --- well, I guess

because You are In alaska --- Good Vids keep them Coming !!!

  • U funny Guy!

  • Wind Turbine... a 400Watt Southwest Windpower turbine will cost you around 600 dollars. Get it. Also, buy 4 12 volt or 8 6 volt deep cycle batteries at around 300 to 500 amp hours (giving you nearly 14kWh to 24kWh of stored power). You'll need a good charge controller and an inverter. My suggestion is buy the SmartRE from OutBack Power Systems. You'll never have to worry about running out of propane or gasoline or diesel again. Buy one peice at a time... spread out the cost over 6 months.

  • And don't forget a solar powered generator.

    mysolarbackupDOTcom.

I hope I can get mine before all hell brakes lose.

By the way, don't forget to make your own garden. My garden is finally producing. I already have some lettuce & culantro. The onions & the carrots are looking good and the beans have white flowers & a several bean sprouts. The corn plants are slowly growing, same with the cabbages. And the potatoe plants are getting BIG. But my tomato plants died for some reason. :(

  • BravoUSA is very good in my experience. They sell good firearms stuff and cheap and their shipping is super fast.

Only pervert losers prefer a magazine over a woman. Find a nice woman to be with, man, lol.

And buy some spices & condiments. Because even a few leafs w a fried wild bird will taste good w the right dressing and condiments.

Trust me, I ran out of Ketchup the other night and I was misserable until the next day. lol.

    P.S.

Wash you hands before cooking those beans... :(

  • Are you still going to do a review on your playboy collection.

  • Check out: 'CHEAPER THAN DIRT' for gun accessories.

  • Cheaper then dirt is awesome. there fast too

  • Demcad, as always I continue to enjoy your adventure. 1. Check out Honeyville foods, I think they are an LDS company and I have found them to have good prices I like their powdered eggs prices), and prompt service. 2. Consider a pressure cooker for your beans.

  • ONe question:

What are rents like where you live?

  • Diggin the outside footage!!

    Great vid's keep it up!

  • shit is expensive in ketchikan

not surprising but still, the sticker shock!

    better you than me lol

  • Dried bean and rice people.Flour is good but not as versatile as cornmeal. And SALT evryone forgets it,but cant survive without it.If it all goes down,COFFEE and SUGAR will be worth as much as gold. And,GET SEEDS!!!!Grow your own stuff. You can go from seed to harvest in 6-8WKS with squash, beans and corn. What you cant eat barter. And yes you can plant the same dried beans you store.I grow all my own veggies in a 30by60 ft plot.AND keep my neighbors happy.

  • Google the "Three Sisters" farming method.Used for centuries by the native Americans. And believe it or not,the best allround rifle is the much maligned .22 longrifle.A well placed shot will kill ANYTHING (within reason)cant tell you how many squirrel, rabbit, wild pig and yes, even dear (dont tell the warden) though.AND you can carry 1000rnds in a big ass pants pocket.Try that with a 30-06.Keep up the great work DEMCAD!

  • Mostly buy all when on sale-that's my bulk (Sam's Club, Costco, etc) Flour used for bread, etc. Bought green giant can goods @4 for $1 about 5 mths ago-got a whole lot! Sun maid raisins BOGO @ $3. :-)

  • BTW, Gerald Celente explained why his predictions haven't come to pass as soon as he "predicted".

They will come but slower because he didn't expect so many bailouts from Obama.

  • - Mountain House food = best dehydrated food. 30 year shelf life.

    - vitacost(dot)com = cheapest place to buy it.

  • Wal-mart has a small selection of Mountain House foods in their camping supplies section.

  • Good point. One thing to note, mountain house in the pouches has a 15 year shelf life. In the #10 cans is 25-30 years.

  • haha.. hot...

try Florida's 90-100 degrees with humidity around 80-90%

When I went to Alaska in the summer it was chilly xD

  • Firearms accesories.. Midway USA.. You can speak with them directly and they will answer any question you have.

  • I haven't had to buy any before but the camping outfitters usually have a big selection of dried food. My buddy brought some along once. It was alright.

  • Whaaaaaaaaa!

    Simple but hilarious

  • Freeze dry foods. Go to your ARMY SURPLUS STORE or shop online ARMY SURPLUSE. Peace Midwest JS

  • ***Metal..not meat cook-ware

  • Tefon causes cancer, get all meat cook-ware

  • Is there any good weed up there????

    IF NOT, i aint goin

  • As always DEMCAD, another "fiver", yikes your munchies are expensive, regular price for corn flakes 3.99 x 13.20 pesos to the dollar = 52.66 pesos, whereas here that same box goes for 40.00 pesos, bananas 1.09/lb thats lik 14.38 for half a kilo, whereas the kilo goes for 5.00 pesos(2.2lb=kg.), wait, bananas are regional here and corn flake factory here too,......cost of shippin' is EXPENSIVE!=P

  • Ur food is expensive! In Ohio Bananas are about .79/lb. Fresh bakery bread is about 3 bucks, cereal can be is low as 2.5 /box. Soda was about .99/2liter 5yrs ago, but now its about 1.50

  • cereal's the same as here, could it be the proximity of the kellogg plants?!!

  • food markup in Alaska is AT LEAST 50% higher than California prices.

  • No, Anchorage is cheaper than CA. Southeast Alaska is expensive, because everything is shipped up here.

  • Oh my goodness !??!?...I cant belive the price of the bread over there!?..Wtf?....Was that nearly $5:00 for just one loaf?..Or was it for two?..If it was for just one loaf then that is a disgusting price for pre packeged bread.

Bread is a staple part of the Human diet and can contain alot of energy in calories,it should never be that high a price..I hope Ive' just got that mixed up and ive made a mistake..over here(UK) pre-packeged bread, for an ok loaf,is around £1:20ish.

    Whats the cheapest??

  • it is really that expensive over there. I saw another video by george4title who went to "food4less" in california and it was the same.

  • but isn't that brand a "gourmet" type, usually more expensive,....here in mexico that bread goes for around 30.00/ by 13.20USD= $2.27 for the loaf.

  • For one...but it was the really good kind of bread.

  • Food prices seem very, very high to me there.

  • Celente revised prediction due to Trillions put in by gov't; but he does expect same results but later. Bananas here on east @3lbs for $1, watermelons 2.99-5.99;bread about 2.89-3.19 Thanks for vids.

  • "Where are the adult magazine?" LMAO! Demcad you are hilarious bruh!

  • HAHAHAHHA

  • LOL

  • LOL

    Gotta have them magazines!

    Hilarious

  • P.S. Some foods are cheaper to buy locally if there's a natural foods store or another grocer who offers stuff in bulk. This often applies to wheat, beans, oats, rice, & sugar.

  • In my experience, E-foods has very high salt content in much of their food. I prefer food from Emergency Essentials.

  • So it's hard porn you advocata? :-)

  • Gerald predicted collapse in 09 so there is 6mo to go I say another shoe will drop by October

  • Very True. I still think that we're going to see a collapse within two years, followed by hyperinflaion.

  • Glad to see you are getting in touch with the Alaskan survivalist instinct in Ketchikan. I hope you have a freezer. Between salmon , rockfish, halibut, cod, shrimp, clams,and crabs you can freeze months worth of neptunes feast up there. Sitka blacktail are also the best tasting deer on earth. I hope you get a chance to store away some great venison too. What are electric bills like up there? I hope that place is treating you right in general:}

  • 2.69 for a 2 liter of sprite?? !

  • Food appears to be very expensive on your island. Maybe you should find a mainland Alaska Sam's Club and do some bulk shopping with a friend (with a family) once a month. You are throwing money away with those retail prices.

  • On your topic of efoods, remember your can dehydrate, what they sell. They only resale freeze dried so there prize is a mark up.

  • I have a good rub out bag always ready for any emergency too!

  • P.s. The banana chips from Honeyville really do taste good. (plain, hydrated & baked in bread, or thrown in some oatmeal for the kiddo). We use the can of Vital Wheat gluten for baking or making tortillas(add a little to your flour). The powdered eggs are okay scrambled or for baking. dehydrated veggies are not good alone. Fine in soups or casseroles. (But I think that is all of them not just that brand) They have a phone # and I've actually spoken to human beings there! Amazing!

  • D if you could please, show us how much the bulk staple foods are. Example. last month I bought four 25 pound bags of flour at $7.09. (at walmart) Today they are now $9.09.(just got 10)

  • went up by $2,It seems like the bulk is going way up and not many notice. I think one everything goes up people will try and buy in bulk, just to realize they cant afford that either

  • I would NOT be able to eat in Alaska. Those food prices are very high.

  • If I can't find their phone number, I assume they don't want to be "bothered" by my phone call. I find a different supplier. Try Honeyville foods for dry goods (canned dehydrated vegetables, eggs, potatoes, etc) Great prices if you buy direct from them. Also $4.95 flat rate shipping no matter how much you buy.

  • Honeyville is a Food storage co. that I've worked with. They have cheap shipping and allow you to purchase individual #10 cans. I like the flexibility. There milk sucks- read the ingredients -has corn syrup -yuck! Shipping was really fast one time and not so fast the other. (out of stock- but got it within a week and 1/2)

Emergency Essentials is also good. They let you pick out individual cans/superpails, too.

Costco has an emergency food pail.lasts 10 yrs-3 months supply$84. (soup & pancakes)

  • I bought some milk from Honeyville. If you use 3/4 cup of powder to 4 cups of water and add a little sugar, it's not too bad. It's not as good as fresh milk but if the price of milk skyrockets I'm sure I'll learn to love it.

  • Honeyville milk powder -- adding a bit of vanilla helps too.

  • I have plenty of dry milk ... just not from Honeyville... It's a weird substitute. Honeyville milk substitute -12.99

Emergency essentials Instant Nonfat Dry Fortified Milk-12.95

It costs just a little more to ship with Emergency Essentials but I'm just one of those crazy people that doesn't want a substitute with corn syrup. (I use dry milk all the time for cooking... I save the "real" milk for cereal & drinking)

  • What's wrong with soft-core pornography?

  • It doesn't do anything for me.

  • >It doesn't do anything for me.

Oh. It gives me a woodie sometimes.

  • >It doesn't do anything for me.

Ah, I see! You like the hard stuff!

  • as far as accessories for your firearms check out cheaperthandirt(dot)com or yourcornerstore(dot)com.

  • I've purchased thousands of seeds through efoods direct, they are very good, I strongly recommend ordering through them.

  • damn 5.00 bucks for bread

  • >damn 5.00 bucks for bread

I think that Orowheat bread is $2.50 in walmart in North Carolina.

His milk is cheaper than ours if he's paying $3/gallon. I think it's closer to $5 here.

  • Always remember, the markets can stay irrational longer than we can stay solvent.

MREs gave me constipation, so I stick with dehydrated or freeze-fried foods. Some company names:

    Mountain House

    The Ready Store

    Honeyville

    Walton Feed

    Nitro-Pak

    Emergency Essentials

I've ordered from all of the above with no problem.

  • gerald never said march. he is very careful and doesnt give times, just trends for a year.

  • Good one Demcad! Remember to buy some vaseline ;)

  • Emergency essentials . com and

MRE Depot . com, I heard this one is pretty good

  • Honeyville Grains, too. Their stuff is good.

  • I second the emergency essentials and Honeyville recommendations.

  • Jinniyah19-

Just checking into Emergency essentials, thanks for the link, first time I heard about them.

I have MREdepot stuff, I like them too.

  • Hey Dem, the reason why Gerald was off on his predictions is because , like me, couldn't have imagined the next President (Obama) would be crazy enough to pump trillions more dollars into the system. A collapse is guaranteed the question now is when. We can print only so many dollars before we really start pissing off China and others.

  • Orange juice, 3.59 WTF, down here its like around 2.89... DAMN! sorry like orange juice. OMG! THE DORITOS ARE 5.69. Thats just plan EVIL!

  • Yeah stuff kinda expensive in alaska because of the cost it takes to ship stuff from the lower 48 all the way there.

  • you guys think that is high?? down here in alabama its at least 4 dollers for a gallon of milk.

  • Good one Reginald good one... Well as for the Power outage I have many propane camping stoves, and lanterns.

I also have a Gas powered generator. Its ok, but I would like to have a solar power system, or wind power.

  • My IMAGINATION is much cheaper than MAGAZINES...

Plus I get to dream about my neighbor!!! :-)

  • Your funny Reginald...adult magazines, lol.

We live in a big city-over 136,000 people.

    Try cheaperthandirt(DOT)com on the bandolier.

I purchased foods from MREdepot and Honeyville and BobsRed Mill.

You absolutely need to make your own bread...depending on supply prices.

If you can do a garden that will help, buy heirloom seeds from RH Shumway, Gurneys.

I will send you a pm on what we got from food suppliers and how what we tried stacked up.

  • Hi, 700. Could you, would you copy & send it my way also?

    Thanks

Reg, purchased some items from Honeyville. What i tried was pretty good. Shipping was $4.95.

  • forestlight5-

    Will send you pm.

  • Thanks.

  • looool

okay that start was awesome :D

amazing weather here in the Vancouver area too. Must be clear all the way up the west coast. BTW, alaska

I'm not into the soft core stuff myself, either. ;)

$5 a loaf of bread, getting up there!

I do think we're seeing a slowing of the collapse, but it's definitely ongoing.

  • Yep Seattle has been really warm for awhile. Have only seen a couple sprinkles in the last few weeks. WEird, but I am not a global warming spewer. People have to understand, you can't just predict everything. Shit happens and so does weather.

  • Polish prices: $0.18 a Kilowatt , $1.60: dozen eggs, $.83: .5l beer, $2.50: Gallon of milk, $250: ton of coal,

  • Ton of coal..LOL

That is pretty cheap man! There are lots of Polish people working up here. Let me know if you're in the neighborhood.

  • Your prices are VERY high.

  • You should see what prices are like here in Norway. America is one of the cheapest nice places to live.

    dozen eggs: $6

    gallon gas: $8

    40oz beer: $7.70

pack of smokes: $14.50 (thats right, one pack)

  • Norway is one of the few places in Europe that make Poland look cheap. I hear Norwegians close to Sweden travel their often to go shopping. Might move to Sweden myself in the future.

  • That is true, but on the upside things are really nice here. This place makes the US look like Mexico.

  • Bullshit, been there, been to Sweden and Denmark too, maybe you need to spend a week in a place like Seattle, or Denver, or Boise Idaho, or a hundred other cities, the bullshit is getting a little deep on Youtube ragging on the US. I also lived in Germany for many years, very nice country, but certainly not nice than the US. You people have your heads up your asses, you have more debt than the US and don't even know it, your Debt vs GDP is higher in all the scandinavian countries

  • Dude, I lived in the US for 27 years, so go suck Obama's dick. Norway has the highest personal savings rate in the world, and Americans have some of the highest debt. Norway is the world's third largest exporter of crude oil, but only has 4.5 million people. Our wealth distribution is in the top three. I have never seen a homeless person here. I see Ferraris and Aston Martins every day.

  • Yeah, right....I lived in Europe for 18 years, I know how things are there, massive taxes, over burdend goverment socialized programs, rampant external debt ( you would think a government could manage with only 4.5 million) You talk about US spending and debt, Norway alone holds 20% more debt than the US vs GDP, The Netherlands has 285% debt vs GDP, Britain almost 400% , Sweden 130% Ireland 800%, Germany 140%....and you talk about US spending? get the facts, you guys are in serious shit..

  • "Go suck Obama's dick, fagot! Looks like I'm on the same page as everyone else here. " why did you send this to my person messages??? This real intelligence...a display of the typical US bashing euro nut who could'nt defend their own nation and needed the US to stabilize Europe for the last 50 years...moron

  • I posted that on your homepage, and it matches the content of the other posts there. Truth is, I love America. That is why I decided to make it my home for almost 30 years. Hopefully Americans will grow some balls soon and stand up for their rights!

  • Im there. Ill settle for an old Porsche and a garden.

  • Thats living in bush alaska and he is not in bush alaska, he is down in south east.

  • Celente already explained that the bailout bubble happened instead of the crash in March. hes saying when that bubble bursts it will be the end of America.

  • The Bubble is about to burst. The markets are behaving very erratic. The collapse is very near.

  • I thought you were more into pessimism porn but I guess you can have both.

  • It would be interesting to compare the cost of things in the US and here in the UK.

    Penthouse Letters! lol

  • I thought you were more into pessimism porn but I guess you can have both.

  • he should have asked for it!

  • LMAO you will be making electricty

  • Shit, I thought the prices where high in so cal.

  • HA HEeeeee!!!! Awesome.
