So how do you think that testimony of their circumcision outcome (regarding penile function) can be relevant to the great majority of intact men, who have a NORMAL or HEALTHY foreskin, which they wish to keep? Or how can their testimony justify the circumcision of healthy foreskin from babies??
Even among those group of men, a significant number of them were NOT pleased with the results, and there was a significant reduction of sensation and some erectile impairment.

While it is true that Isreal has a relatively low incidence of cervical cancer, FINLAND (whose men are nearly all UNCIRCUMCISED) has an even lower incidence, as does western Asia, Shanghai and southern Spain, e.g. Navarra. Arabic women, whose men are nearly all circumcised, don't fare as well as Jewish women for cervical cancer, so circumcision is not the key factor.

The fact is that there's a lot of evidence suggesting there is no significant difference in sensitivity (look up "Sexual effects of circumcision" on Wikipedia and you'll see conflicting studies.) That does not make circumcision right, it simply makes it less horrible than you claim. Circumcised men are not damaged goods and telling them so is only going to push them away. You need to level with them and be reasonable or no one will take you seriously.

This makes his results misleading. Something you aren't taking into account is that not all nerves are created equally. There are more nerves in your digestive tract than in the rest of your entire body (including your brain), yet your digestive tract does not have more intense sensations than your penis.

You make a lot of unsupported ASSUMPTIONS, that you need to support.
Try providing some scientifically credible evidence. You cannot simply assume that the sensations from the majority of penile nerves are not relevant.

@Tandykane The foreskin undeniably contains sexually-sensitive nerves, but that does not make the foreskin the most sensitive part of the penis or the most important for feeling sexual pleasure. Even if 3/4 of the penis' nerves are in the foreskin like you say (though I question that), it does not mean that 3/4 of sexual sensation is lost by removing it. We should not ignore the issue of penile sensitivity, but it is far from settled, unlike the issue of ethics and naturalness.

Nonsense! LOGICALLY, the most nerves means the most sensation--and sensitivity is merely the quantitative measurement of sensation. And again,, where is the evidence for it not being the most important for pleasure?

@Tandykane Where is your proof that the foreskin contains the majority of the penis' nerves (I've never read this anywhere) and haven't you ever heard of something called the glans? Obviously the glans is the primary component for experiencing sexual pleasure. The foreskin mostly serves to protect the glans (BECAUSE the glans is obviously the most sensitive part). The glans is the cognate of the clitoris, and the foreskin is the cognate of the clitoral hood that protects it.

Why do you ASSUME the glans is the primary component for pleasure? Do you have evidence for this illogical assumption considering it has far fewer nerves than the foreskin, and nearly NONE of the specialized nerves?

@Tandykane My entire point has been that circumcised men are the ones you need to convince, because theyre the ones who will circumcise the next generation if you don't. B/C circumcised men function normally and thoroughly enjoy sex, telling them that they are mutilated victims will only make them laugh in your face. The message should be that boys should be left intact because its the ethical and natural thing to do, not because circumcision will ruin their lives or sexual pleasure (it won't).

As rational people they should already know that infant circumcision is unethical and a violation of basic human rights... the truth reinforces a major reason WHY it is so.
Enough of the hyperbole--no one claims their sex life is ruined or non-existent-merely diminished.

@Tandykane I'm not suggesting that you protect men from the truth, I'm suggesting that Sorrel's testing is not the entire truth and that you will never know the entire truth until you walk in a circumcised man's shoes. The data and statistics themselves are disputed to say nothing of their interpretation--only personal experience can really count. I have yet to see where you got your 3/4 loss statistic from, and I find the notion that uncut men have triple the sensitivity of cut men dubious.

@Tandykane That's why I pointed out the survey that found most men circumcised in adulthood reported no noticeable loss of sensitivity. As a circumcised man, I can tell you that tripling (even doubling) my sensitivity would make sex unbearable and that however you've reached your 3/4 statistic must be flawed. The foreskin is more important for protecting the glans and making the "gliding action" during sex than it is for sexual pleasure and sensitivity, as any anatomist could tell you.

So how do you think that testimony of their circumcision outcome (regarding penile function) can be relevant to the great majority of intact men, who have a NORMAL or HEALTHY foreskin, which they wish to keep? Or how can their testimony justify the circumcision of healthy foreskin from babies??

Foreskin doesn't grow back, nor is it something that most people have a valid reason to cut off. Maybe you should remember that females also have foreskins and taking a knife to that tissue is illegal. Why shouldn't boys be given the same protection?

While it is true that Isreal has a relatively low incidence of cervical cancer, FINLAND (whose men are nearly all UNCIRCUMCISED) has an even lower incidence, as does western Asia, Shanghai and southern Spain, e.g. Navarra. Arabic women, whose men are nearly all circumcised, don't fare as well as Jewish women for cervical cancer, so circumcision is not the key factor.

A guy who gets circ'd in adulthood usually does so due to a defective foreskin or cultural reasons. Either way, you are not representative of the vast majority of intact men, who enjoy their foreskin and want to keep it. Search: "foreskin function" or "foreskin anatomy". Find out how a NORMAL foreskin works!

Most men wouldn't have a preference for it but their wives push this child abuse. By child abuse don't think I'm exaggerating. ON AVERAGE circumcision removes HALF the skin of the penis and 90% of what are called Meissners Corpuscles -- these are the "sexual nerves" which women have also. And yet women bitch on and on about female rights here in US.

Circumcision always cuts off all the ridged band and part to all of frenulum. Action on the shaft is wasted to these structures. Action must be directly on the frenulum remnant, if any remains.

It would be great if you updated this video to include one function of the Dartos Muscle which tenses with erection thereby creating a one piece solid skin tube where any action on it is transferred to the erogenous ridged band and through its loop to the frenulum, this action is transferred to act on thew frenulum. All action on the shaft acts on these erogenous structures, the ridged band and frenulum. No action is wasted.

Mutilation does not mean permanently destroying a body part. Noun mutilation - an injury that causes DISFIGUREMENT or that deprives you of a limb or other important body part.
There is no medical or ethical reason for circumcision, anyone that says otherwise is grossly misinformed or a dammed liar.
