  • Bass, in my own opinion, sounds better without a pick. It's more brutal when playing death metal. I'm a finger picking player and i wouldn't play any other way.

  • nicely done dude, but i really liked the pick version better.the sound was way heavier & defined in the other video.

  • @MrSFblack Thanks i record in fingers because i received many coments like, fuck off the pick.... You are a fagot... So i decided to record,i can play with fingers or pick but i prefer the pick. But i like the sound with fingers too and i respect all the technics if just sounds good that´s ok!

  • @Bassplayer10005 i agree way too many people worry about technique and not what matters, the sound.

  • @Bassplayer10005 You should play pick if you like it, regardless of what people say. Fingers sounds good for some music (funk, jazz), pick sounds good for most other music. Personally, I find picking much more difficult so it perplexes me when someone calls you a "faggot" because you play pick. Sigh....society....

  • @Bassplayer10005 thats cool, its good to see u are so well rounded in ur playing.but don't let those cunts determine how u play, regardless fingerstyle or plectrum its not making u any less awesome....ROCK ON \m/

  • Now Im waiting for a slap and pop version lol

  • @metalmusiccovers1 Your comment leaves me curious, because working bassists know about versitility. Using a pick naturally gives you harder attack on the strings, also good for bringing out the metal tones of the strings. I use Rotosound RB40-5's (less expensive, I like to change strings often - works great for highs & lows) on a SR 505 usually finger & sometimes picks .

  • I think with pick is a lot more difficult than with finger :)

  • @RogerSteve1994 Corpse is indeed very difficult with a pick :/

  • your not the same colour as before....and is that a metranome?

  • I have an Ibanez SR505. PLUS I LOVE THIS SONG, AND YOUE COVER OF IT!

  • dude ill coment the second i pick my jaw off the floor.0_o

  • The pick version sounded better. The sound was just...I suppose, more defined or something.

  • take away 2 strings and somehow im still not better at bass than guitar and i own at guitar
