Assuming the US wants to maintain an uncontaminated cafeteria, this means we will continue with our once-through process and won't be recycling. Where does that put Peak uranium for the US? The world?
Nice. I'm doing a project on nuclear fuel reprocessing and this is definitely a great way to explain this stage of the cycle.
And the US IS looking to nuclear reprocessing, just look up the current redrafting of the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP).
