you should review the Roccat kova[+] the upgraded version of kova :) one of the best mice out now ive heard.

sorry for my asking but I'm currently looking for a good claw-grip mouse. some have told me that the kova is low profile, but the pictures and videos don't make it look conducive to claw-grip, which is why I wanted to ascertain the height.

@AsgardianMight The height? yeah I'm pretty sure, it might be like 2/3mm higher but yeah.. :p where did you find that the CM spawn was 12cm high? O_o

@CCReviews that's lower than the height of razer abyssus at 40mm! the length/width is nearly the same and i'll be grabbing one of these. i hope the height will really be lower than abyssus..

@BINZify sry man, there are no drivers for the Kova, only the Kova + works with drivers. This one is just plug & play...

@BINZify Uninstall the drivers that windows installs, then plug it in again or try another USB port. If that doesn't resolve the problem, ask Roccat support, they should be able to help you further. If the problem persists, you have to try to get a refund :\

Btw besides this mouse, I also has razer deathadder for my next gaming mouse. Have suggestion which I should choose? I've rather small hand and claw grip.

About your question: Well if I'm not mistaking, The Deathadder is slightly more expensive, and has lower DPI, so I think I would recommend you to buy the Kova. Do you have Windows 7, cuz the Kova has some issues with W7 systems.. :\

@CCReviews The deathadder I'm asking is the new one, which has 3500 dpi, IIRC. Recently I'm still using windows vista home premium, but in several months ahead I plan to get windows 7. Is there any solutions regarding windows 7 problem?

@ePsGaming The lachesis is a completely different mouse, this is more like an entry level gaming mouse, whereas the Lachesis is more advanced, has higher DPI, programmable buttons, more built-in memory, software drivers...

So they are in a completely different league, and probably the lachesis is better than the Kova

@zinnerNL Well, mine's still not broken, and works good. But indeed sometimes it does feel a little bit awkward, because of the ambidextrous design.. But it didn't make my had hurt or so. :)

Do I recommend it to you? well, its certainly a great to awesome product in its price range but it's quite old :\ If you want a newer and more advanced mouse, and are willing to spend a bit more, you could also take a look at the Roccat Kone + (80EUR) or you could take a look at the Razer line-up. :)

Thanks for the response. I've bought the roccat kave, so i was looking for a roccat mouse to have it in similar brands. But today i've been to a store, and both the kone and kova felt awkward.. The kone was the most similar to the g5 but the pinky rest was shit. The kova was totally diffrent and kinda small, so i might need to get used to it..

I actually dont use macro's on my mouse, only the scroll to jump, and the left sided buttons for forward and back @ an internet browser. I've felt 1 today and ik more finger tip than your whole hand around the mouse. So i need to get used to it when i buy it. Subscribed!

About your question, you can't use the right 2 buttons in game, since there are no drivers, but you should be able to use the left 2 :)
