I bet that "grampha" as you rudely put it could whip you in any 2 or 4 wheeled vehicle you care to mention, so before you give opinions based on no knowledge, perrhaps you should engage brain. Richard raced motorcross, and circuit cars successfully for many years, and even today is always at the front of the fast group at track days. By the way look at the FQ320 in the back ground. @yoeEVO9MR Kevin Shwantz ( 41yrs old ), Randy Mamola (51 yrs old ) Both of these riders are old interms of bike racing, but at the end of last years Moto GP season when various press get to ride the Moto GP bikes, thesse two were posting times that would see them on the third row of a race., So no they don't lose their skills. Also look at Jackie Stewart ( Formula 1 ) 99% of drivers go to him for various lessons. Think before you speak next time.

It has some track improvements now, new suspension inserts to make it handle better, race exhausts and remap, and the biggest aid is an aftermarket slipper clutch (sigma) as the engine has so much braking effect it becomes unstable on downshifts under "race" braking efforts..... He is an ex racer, and would better you any day. I have tried to keep up with him around most circuits in the UK and Spain and he is consistently in the top three. Forget the nurses; your th eone that woul dneed them if you tried to keep up!

Just being on this bike on Ca. canyons is pure pleasure ,you dont have to always use it on the track. I think the jealous guys always want to call the guys that (can ) own these whimps for not being what they want to believe are macho studs only on the track, as if thats really where you will spend most of the time anyway

The bike has now been on 5 trackdays and has 1300 miles on it a quickshifter is now on (doesn't have one as standard!) and is about to get a 17" rear wheel so it can run slicks. My mate is a much better rider than me on a "normal" bike but now he is untouchable on this thing. It is so loud that not a lot of track days even most noisy ones will allow it on. I think they should make a special dispensation for it don't you?

One track day at Silverstone so far. As you can imagine with 200 BHP it is very quick, thankfully huge brakes but a bit of a handful on the throttle as it spins up coming out of bends easily and has no DTC. Also suspension is mega hard race set up and without setup (this was first outing with just 500 miles done)is a bit hard.
