I bought the first generation of these bicycles in Iran around 1975 for 1500(Toman) or about $210. At that time other bicycles sold for hardly $40-50. Mine came with wide tires(wider than any in this video) nice, long seat with tail up almost like the one at 0:45, white fiberglass mudguards, front/rear shocks, later I added a speedometer. The brakes were so strong the first time I used both together I got thrown off the bike over a roll of carpet on the yard floor! Heavy but loved it.
I owned one when I was young , great idea but very heavy, expensive and somewhat hard to maneuver through the woods. Lots of good memory's here, but a hard bike to do jumps on - some bad experiences because of the weight...
