  • it was a CSR that gave you the shunt? any damage?

  • There was some damage, but I would guess more to his car than mine. I just needed minor fiberglass repair on the side pod, a new radiator and to replace a tweaked bolt in the rear suspension. Lucky that it happened in a such a slow corner.

  • yeah Id imagine the bodywork on those CSR's isnt cheap to repair. just out of curiosity how much do you FE guys put aside for an SCCA race weekend? for racing expendables, fees and travel.

  • do you know my uncle Peter Pope? he was there racing FE and i was there watching him.

  • I don't know him, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out next year!

  • he mainly races in the south east division. road atlanta and VIR. down there.

  • Hey, I know you uncle very well! We took his car to the Sprints. I was the other FE with him. I think I met you, too. Tell your uncle he needs to let you drive his FE...

  • I was the responding corner worker, and now I know what you mean by "he came out of nowhere!" By the way, I haven't seen the driver of the CSR around. Anyways, good luck on the rest of your season!

  • Thanks again for your help! We wouldn't be out racing if it wasn't for you. Looking forward to next year at the Sprints!

  • Wow - that looks like a total blast - I wanna try it...Kudo's to Christine and Carl...love the sound, video's great watching. peter
