  • @chungzheng umm, it's at the last scene of the video. you cross the road from that "Chong Pang something" sign and you should see it at your 11 o'clock. in other words it's directly opposite the road (standing at side with sign).

  • The moment the granddaughter call her & she turn to gave her the rice , i cried .. It is really touching !!!

  • I think she went to a duck rice stall instead of a chicken rice stall .. Or maybe the seller doesn't understand Cantonese . So sad story ...

  • This is really good!

  • 5.22 - 5.34 the time of the background arn't in sync. It appears to be night at the girl's house but at the scene where the grandmother is , its appears to be day. Just my 2cents worth.

  • At 2:06 - 2:14, she said she wanted a packet of chicken rice, and to add more chicken meat, but the guy was chopping a duck's drumstick at 2:17... And the girl's father can't speak cantonese! LOL!

  • @dudecanner same thoughts about the duck rice.

  • Incredible production!

  • They shouldn't end it so abruptly. They should show us the parents emotion after that. It'll be much more touching (:

  • are there ways of avoiding alzheimers when growing old? i remember a kid who used to frequently eat marmite - he told me it was because the nutrients in it could help him avoid alzheimers when he became old. i know his grandma had it, hence his belief in it - but is this at least partially true?

  • change the rythem in the middle part will make it better..

    bt anyway.....,still thumb up!!

  • This is really sad, i hope not many of the old folks in this world come to this kind of situation.. );

  • those 6 people who clicked dislike has no emotions.

  • grats to singapore poly students for making this vid. Make sure must have a love like a family.

  • dont think not to love your grandmother/grandfather, but just to love your parents?

you're wrong, your grandmother/grandfather are a part of your father/mother's family lines.

love to think about familes. :)

  • Wow, this was very well done! Emotionally touching and poignant. Beautiful job!

  • im sry, but is there any reason why u had to invert ur video?

  • And in this time when every single video is just *meh*, hopeless, and uninspired, this really blew me away. You guys have done damn well for this and it goes to show how much a little thought in making something good can come a long way. How much did you guys spend to produce this video?

  • she kinda looks like shin se kyung... =)

  • Darn. I'm not in the mood to cry right now. T_T Wonderful video. It was so sad that she forgot...

  • Some people were crying to hard, they missed the like button!!!

  • In reality Dementia doesn't really hit it quick like what was shown, it's a progressive disease. You don't suddenly not recognize your family that's usually in the late stage of Dementia. Good spot though to create awareness about Dementia.

  • I cried too. :|

  • Comment removed

  • why some one dislike this? i cant believe they disliked this one. this is soooo good! made me cry!

  • Aww, I cried. ;-;

I don't know how it feels to have someone with dementia, but I bet it feels heartbreaking to have someone close to you forget who you are. ):

  • ate si lecar po toh.

  • I'm crying so hard right now. </3 Very touching, but very sad. I miss my grandma! :C She's still alive, but she's on the other side of the world right now.

  • i really thought she was gonna hit by the car. xD that never made me cry, people getting hit by cars. but i was surprised when she wasn't, and i thought that she went crazy coz she can't even recognize her own son. then the grand child came, and she was like... aw man, i cried at that. T.T

  • very good story line! love it! but camera shots wise, kinda wasted on this good storyline.

  • The beginning music is by MobileWeapon.

  • As a marketing consultant, I think this is a brilliant sensitization video for the disease. The message is clear and the story is touching. The English captions help audience understand. This video is great for dissemination not only in Asia but North America and Europe. Bravo, Connie Ho Copywriter

  • Let's be more understanding and patient with our elders. They need us..

  • wow, good film, keep up the good work SP!

  • my teacher showed this to my class and after the video we were all quiet for the whole period lol...

  • What nice storyline

  • yup the movie was quite touching. it would be better if there were slow motions to some scenes like when the granddaughter eat the chicken rice to show how touched she was. but overall it is touching. proud of SP!

  • this make me cry . such a beautiful video . it has a great meaning to it .

  • Did they acted at ChongPang? Hahaa.

    Cool video! ;D

  • Have you ever scolded your old folks at home in forgetting this and that? Now you know you just broke their hearts... They did not do so on purpose, they can't help it. Next time being raising your voice, think of this beautiful video. Good job, students of Spore Poly... proud of you!

  • Well said Raymond, we need to remember that their reality is not our reality, and what make sense to us doesnt make sense to them. My dad had slight dementia and at times he would make a fuss over certain issues and accuse me of the things I never need. The truth is we need to be patient with them.

  • awesome. this is so good. i cried.

  • is the place th ahma buys food at yishun , chongpang there ?

  • yes =]

  • it's so touching.. :)

  • Good job!

  • This showed how we take daily life for granted until it happens to you or your family. Good work on the video, certainly filled up my tears pot....

  • The grandchildren MUST learn to be more concerned of their grandparents well being and try not burden them with housewholechore. U ve only one granny and remember no one loves u as much as her.... so be grateful!

  • so sad... and the grandma was still afraid that the girl would be angry....

  • Hahas the ahma so cute xD

    Last part

  • wait till you become like her.

  • You don't know what you are talking about!

Maybe you should watch that video again and see what the message is all about!

Ignorant person! Hope none of your family members have AD because you didn't understand!

  • and one day it will happen to you. hah..hah..

  • omg HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT

  • I don't mean to sound like a prick, but there are some unscrupulous people out there who pretend to have dementia and lure you back to an abandoned premise and rob you blind. In any case, do bring the lost person to a police station and ask for help there. EVERYONE should be kind, but everyone should have common sense.

I'm sorry if this comment offended anyone, but it's just my opinion

  • i agreee.

  • This video REALLY GOOD, teach people need caring your family more than everything......when you lost someone, then you know how to care, that too late..

  • Gahh, cried when I saw her granddaughter eating the chicken rice right there.
