it's a shame that the kp3 only does 4 track sampling

But as you can hear, using the overdub feature you can save 3 banks in 1. Then you'll have another 3 free again and you can record 2 new ones and overdub t that whole mix on the 3rd free bank.

Fun jamming like this makes me regret having sold my koass2 sometimes. How many banks are on this kp3?(all the beatbox layers) is that video sampling done by kp3?

Hey, (ik zal het verder in engels beantwoorden zodat de rest het kan lezen).

There are 4 sample-banks on the KP3, when my 4 where full I started overdubbing; thus not being able to switch back to certain layers... I try to oranise the banks so I have a Drum+melody and another with SoundFX etc. to keep the composition interesting.

The video layering is stricktly POST-EDITTING, but I'm trying to figure out a way to develop live video sampling. (like eBoman for instance)

Your KP3 looks odd tho whats with the stripes around the edge of the pad? and no lights? Just curious.

Thnx! yeah the KP3 does a good job as a loopstation so go out 'n play!

The white stripes are just stickers and you can't see any lights because I had to set up a VERY BRIGHT video light next to the camera to compensate for the sunlight on my back. Or else you wouldn't see my arms. So the KP's lights are oerwhelmed by it but they're there :P.
