Very nice! What clay were you using? NSP Soft, medium, hard? SmoothOn products are great, but you can actually find great quality Silicone for cheaper elsewhere.

Pretty good sculpture, by the way. Mechanical shapes are hard to sculpt freeform.

I was just saying, speaking from professional experience (Made mechanical, geometric shaped props for a TV show) that mechanical sculpts are REALLY HARD TO SCULPT! the only thing I would have done different with the mold, would be to make someplace to clamp the mother mold together with.

As for silicone, I get 5 minute set, Gel-10 platinum based silicone and it's a bit cheaper than smoothon products.

What you are asking is re-casting and that's a no no in the costuming community. What you can do is find papakura templates and create the shape and build a mold around that.
