@AlexTheDrummer110 its preference, and completely different rhythm between the two. If a guitarist comes in and plays bass they will play more lead. If a bassist comes in and plays guitar they will play more support, like a rhythm guitarist would. So it's really if you and the drummer are comfortable being the band's backbone.

You could get a 5-stringer (any brand or model) which broadens your range down the the B in standard tuning. A small rework in tabbing and you can play your C# tabs easily.

Man u have a great vision of the song in the bass player perspective...but u need more tecnique and i recomended u dont use much treeeble in the finger style quickly riff cose the sound is horrible 4 tape... other things is yeah u do great job in the riff but a lot pentatonic riff with 2 guitars in the same tone and the same time is bored! !!

when using a pick on bass, it gives it a different tone, especially the thickness of the pick. I use picks when i play bass and it gives it a more punchy tone as well as keeping the lows sounding very powerful.

no man.. is a recording interface.. But yes you can buy and adapter from 1/4" to 1/8" and plug your bass directly on your computer Mic Input or Line IN, i used to record like that and the quality is good too.. but not as good as recording with an interface....

a recording interface is a device where you plug your instrument and let you record its sound on a computer.. that's it... When you record you plug your bass cable on the interface input, and the interface has it's own usb cable to hook to the computer. ---google it---

I'm playing the same rhythm structures as the guitars and kick drum in the breakdowns, Which is what is called a breakdown right?.. don't get what you mean with "beat on"?, In songs like these i always study the time divisions, especially in breakdowns and I use my Drumming knowlegde to count the "beats" on a breakdown if is that what you mean... I don't need to see ABR or other band live to figure that out...
