Alright guys, I live about an hour from Silverwood, I have had Season passes for 4 summers, and I even know the boy who's Grandpa owns this. If you've never beenm the theme of it is kinda an old-western vibe, rustic Idaho charm. There is a reason it's not in Portland! And sure, Athol is kinda a ghetto town, but Silverwood really has an important part in the area ad entertainment and is such a treat for anyone that lives near!

Really guys? I'm pretty sure you both can figure out why they don't build a theme park in Portland, let alone the Pacific Northwest. I live in Washington and I know Portland just as well and as you guys know, it rains more than three-quarters of the year. That's the reason. If they built it completely indoors then it would probably be fine but outdoors is a no go. I think its fine where it is and I'm pretty sure it's there to stay.

Ahh, I LOVE Silverwood:) My family and I go there every Summer! But sadly, I have to wait until August before I get to go :( And last time I went, the Aftershock wasn't even open yet, so I couldn't go on it. -.-'' That's what made me angry, LOL! But Tremors made my anger go away :)

But it must have sucked having to be in a car for 8 hours. :S It takes me 5 hours to get there from Everett, WA :D Haha, but it's a fun ride nonetheless.

i dont get it. idaho has this fantastic water/theme park with awesome rides, where in oregon, the biggest ride is 40 ft and it's a log flume. there's only two coasters in the whole state

thats funny when you say windmills, lol.. i see them all the time when i drive to Vegas. in Mojave, ca.. and Aftershock is a good ride, shyould ride De Ja Vue at Six Flags magic, its taller and faster even though Aftershock came from a six flags park before it was sold
