Nice. Great choice of clips and soundtrack. Only a few critisisms.

1)The flash was not quite in sync with the beat of the intro to the track about halfway through that part of the sequence.

2)The video is a bit overfocussed on the Borg. They aren't the only major plot element in the game.

Other than that, this is great. You put it together great, chose the right track & clips, even had a nice idea for that intro sequence flash-beat effect.

My understanding of the lifetime subscription is you get to create a borg looking character, you don't actually play the borg faction. that's probably on down in the future for everyone.

Borg aren't that good of a race for the game as of yet. maybe down the line if this game does well they will have them as a race but the problem with that is the storyline. this is all about the Federation vs the Klingons from what i see. introducing the borg to the game would mean they'd have to alter the storyline. just my opinion.

Actually, if taken from a post-next generation films perspective, the hive mind was destroyed and the remaining Borg would be "detached" from a hive mind. This would allow them to form personal agendas. Increased fleet coordination, no armor, lots of hit points, increased regen, totally screwed economy, inability to trade with other races, enemy of all races, when boarding ships they must "capture" enemies to replenish crew... etc. Use your imagination.

That's true, with the Borg you wouldn't be able to explore any diplomatic options that would be fun. Although, it would be interesting to see how you could use a whole army of completely unified drones (if you could play as the Borg Queen). Food for thought...

For those of you commenting on STO, I played at PAX and I can confirm Klingons are an enemy you will fight, as are romulans, and borg. I can't confirm but the dev I spoke to also said specifically you can encounter many races that will have ships.  My guess is that they're not all friendly =).

Nice Video, but i hope that ST Online will have more enemys to offer then only BORG... cant count the number of Borg Ships i destroyed in Legacy and Armada, begins to get boring to bring down big ass Cubes with like 4 Ships.

They better have some *realistic* ship to ship combat. which means more like 40 ships needed per Cube!
