By the way Don, there are a few cool projects I plan to start soon to get off the grid and yet still maintain today's standard of living. Check out the Bedini Motor and the Wood Gasifier. I also plan on Solar and wind power for electrical generation. My gardening skills lack so if you could pass any lessons learned from your garden last spring I would appreciate it. Here in Florida the soil/sand is pretty poor, so I am starting a compost now for next spring.

i'm not too used to the soil down here, either...so my first suggestion would be to have it tested. (from several different parts of the yard) native plants are your best bet.
i don't advocate fertilizer use, but if you need to...look at the first ingredient, and where it comes from. (nitrogen-with fertilizer you generally get what you pay for and nurseries/specialty stores are the wisest choice)

@DANE842 What this is about, well I have been telling people for a long time through many accounts, what the deal is with all of this for the past two years. Now any one with some knowledge of this site, knows about many of the problems and issues which surrounds this site. So I got involved, and I used my connections and contacts to tell many people who I am, and what I have been doing out here and my goals.

But you just said it yourself. Youtube exists in the real world, just like all the other social media sites and tools. So when people wake up to these facts using this site, then maybe one day. And I say maybe I will get on Cam and communicate, But I feel by the time most people get it here, I am not going to want to have anything to do with people at that point.
I mean, since we last communicated, some of us here have started having real time conversations with each other, using skype or stickam or whatever else, some of us have gotten to know each other pretty well. Some of us have started businesses, and bought property, and backed off the online community looking for other things, some of us have started getting addictions under control and having more conversations with people in the real world.
@DANE842 I am glad you brought up skype. Now why is it, that people have no issues using those tools. As well do not act like, how people do using this site. What makes Youtube so different, when in reality it is the same thing. Starting to get my drift. See people have this God complex issue when it comes to this site, because many know Youtube is much like the mass media, and they seek to control it and other people with it. This is the concept that Zack and many others claim not to get.
I think YT and skype are different because the interaction is real time, and text based language lacks so many of the nuances that verbal communication does. YT can be used as a pulpit where skype is more of a discussion. But still, and I don't really want to talk about Zack, there's alot of good stuff on here.

Well for one, that isnt the first time I have trying showing you guys, that I have been involved with that radio show, and I have had my own words spoken on air, by Peter. I am from Colorado, and I have been working with them as well as many others to try and show you guys, that what I am doing is not just limited to Youtube here. So what I am showing and proving is that many of you have no idea what is going on, yet people such as Zack, Ben and many others wish to speak as if they do.
Now I wanted you guys to listen to the radio show, becasue there is no pictures or video. But real intraction with people over the phone and discussions about major issues, some that you guys even talk about on this site. So what I am pointing out here Don, is who are the people most addicted to the image of the TV or Youtube here? And who are those who are really listening in the first place.

By the way Don, there are a few cool projects I plan to start soon to get off the grid and yet still maintain today's standard of living. Check out the Bedini Motor and the Wood Gasifier. I also plan on Solar and wind power for electrical generation. My gardening skills lack so if you could pass any lessons learned from your garden last spring I would appreciate it. Here in Florida the soil/sand is pretty poor, so I am starting a compost now for next spring.

i'm not too used to the soil down here, either...so my first suggestion would be to have it tested. (from several different parts of the yard) native plants are your best bet.
i don't advocate fertilizer use, but if you need to...look at the first ingredient, and where it comes from. (nitrogen-with fertilizer you generally get what you pay for and nurseries/specialty stores are the wisest choice)

I dont know the answer,I am torn between hating authority but realising that it will probably always exist so I should try to work to change as much as I can. I mean, since we last communicated, some of us here have started having real time conversations with each other, using skype or stickam or whatever else, some of us have gotten to know each other pretty well. I think YT and skype are different because the interaction is real time, and text based language lacks so many of the nuances that verbal communication does.
