It's that red thing on the bottom of the cup. Once it's on the machine, the red thing is pushed up so that the bottom is unsealed and beer can get inside. And when it's removed the red thing goes back to place closing the hole and sealing the bottom. Cool story, bro.

ok, i think i have figured this out, see originally there is a whole in the bottom of the cup and then you but it on the machine in which a whole bunch of bottoms are run through a tube and then they seal it with a disc that slides in under the cup and seals the entire cup from the bottom stopping the process

There's little valves on the bottom of the cups, it goes up when you place the cup on the dispenser, and goes back down again when you lift the glass off the dispenser.

If you were to get a full cup and use a pen or something to press up on one of the valves that are on the bottom of the cup, the beer would spill out.

@soadhusky its all in the cups , there is a small cut in the bottom of the cup that is covered in some magnetic material, when the seal is broken( the cup is pressed onto the beer platform) it opens a gap for the beer to be injected through the bottom, when the cup is lifted back up the seal pops back into place almost instantly giving you a hard to break seal.
