The things are not big enough to be an RPG, which has a meter-long launching tube. If those guys were going to try to shoot down a helicopter, which was obviously flying over them, why would they stand in the middle of the street? You don't see any weapons in the follow-up shooting either.

To all those who blame the people shot for "assembling with an RPG or a AK-47" look and the video and at a few pictures of those weapons. Two guys in that video have something dark under their arms. The things are not big enough to be an RPG, which has a meter-long launching tube. If those guys were going to try to shoot down a helicopter, which was obviously flying over them, why would they stand in the middle of the street? You don't see any weapons in the follow-up shooting either.
