  • ok really you feel the ground shake um dont wait like "its a earthquake im going to stand here like in a movie." if you feel the ground moving dont stand run!

  • They say you cant predict earthquakes - all you have to do is listen for the dramatic music then you know shits about to go down

  • Those Poor people :(

  • God bless China.

  • holy shit ground at 1:22

  • No need for translation with this video... various people going about their business, then the ominous music in the background starts to play, they wonder, "uh oh, why the ominous music?", but that gave them some warning as the earthquake started and they all ran for it as everything went to you-know-where in a handbasket.

  • christ on a cracker!, you could see how the land moved in the parking lot shots...

    and how it wobbled D:

  • All the destruction was pretty due to shitty Chinese construction. hey that rhymed!

  • @PIECE2YOURMOTHA

    Darn Chinese counterfeit buildings! :-p

  • I can't listen to chinese, it feels like lizards are squirming in my ears.

  • Am I the only one who finds it amazing how much the security cameras move about? Cheap mounts?

  • @sorcerykid Orr.. err. EARTHQUAKKEEE!

  • did i just see a really bad godzilla movie?

  • lmao funny ass hell

  • LOL. Dramatic music much?

  • cheap building, low standards of building, no building codes, a recipe for disaster really!

  • chiniese....?

  • Just incase even though i live in scotland i have an emergency disaster evacuation plan :) im going to make maps on the computer if my family or myself are in that area we shall know our evacuation plan to leave calmly and safely

thumbs up if i have a good idea!

  • @Midnightninja123 This morning at like 4:30, i woke up to a 7.4 earthquake. I thought it was super windy, but then i realised my bedroom was swaying from side to side.

  • @kelmo144 chch , right? Im from the epicentre. kirwee/darfield

  • 1:29 Freaks the crap out of me ... Seeing the ground jiggle like that ... Woah.

  • @kbs1212

Yea me too. Nowhere to run and hide.

  • those are some good ass cameras

  • ahhhhh! IzZZ Gozillaa!!!!

  • wouldnt it be strange if u woke up nd half ur bhouse was GONE

  • HEY!, IM CHINESE! I "THINK" I UNDERSTOOD WAT THE SAID! sort of

  • just another crappy asian made building, they should just leave the mexicans to do that. :P

  • @xDJCRUZZZx HEY, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT IM CHINESE! YOU TRY AND MAKE LIKE 80 BUILDINGS IN A FEW YEARS AND MAKE THEM ALL COMPLETELY STABLE WHEN THE DIDNT EVEN KHOW A HUGE EARTHQUAKE WOULD HIT IT!

  • Forget that shit. 5.5 to 6.0 is ok for me but uh, what ever that was, 8.0? Na, ill pass. Im just kinda waitin for this "Big One" to hit me in South Cali and ill be done for.

  • what was the magnidute?

  • Hmmm looks like they need better cameras with better screws

  • It looks like some1s havin sex in the cars

  • Those guys don't know how to build anything.

  • @mbrown187 the chinese did built the great wall and the forbidden city

  • Comment removed

  • @mbrown187 Also they built some of the world's tallest towers

  • Far se ho yaho mlo sicko

  • that's f***** scary!

  • FRIENDLY REMINDER

if there is a DOOR... RUN!!! do not hide under the table and wait to get crashed...

  • Wow, those women would have been crushed if they had stayed for another 10 seconds!

  • hahaha lol fnjdshbfuinejrnfundsjfnhuewnufnednfundenfgiernjgiknikrejhnufgndefjiadjsufjidsjdi i love how they talk its soooo fucking funny

  • was the guy under the desk okay????

  • The over-dramatic music was stupid.

  • Wow. :(

  • y'know, I remember a story from Iran. A little girl ask a journalist : what will this do to help us? Nothing, replied the journallist. Why? asked the girl. Well, people in the west will look at this, they would say "how bad, I wish I could help" and they will continue eating their breakfast.

Valuable lesson. Damn we are so ignorant!

  • its very scary. i hope Haiti will moved on.

  • FUCK

  • godzilla

  • LOL

  • my favorite cctv reporter <3

  • ching chang ching chang chong

  • @dufydf lol

  • @dufydf i'd bone the reporter.

  • @dufydf Making fun of languages is fun... not.

  • @dufydf LMFAO

  • Shut the fuck up

  • lol

  • cool the last few seconds were the best

  • scary

  • its funny how in any language, the reporters still have that cocky douchebag voice.

  • @iammagyar Have you seen this? watch?v=KzLYiUOxWRM

  • @iammagyar hahahahahahaha soooo fucking true xD

  • i was thinkin about this the other day with a doobie in my hand...the oil we extract from the ground...maybe its there as a lubricant underground to stop friction that creates earthquakes and were extracting it for our own use? totally all in my head i might be all wrong lol

  • You are wrong yeah...

  • The idea of drilling for oil causing earthquakes and sink holes is not new. A huge sink hole happened in Texas about a week after Haiti's earthquake. Texas has lots of Oil under it and is not very far from Haiti.

  • @sikminesta As a geology Major I can tell you that it is not the reason for earthquakes however there has been cases of small tremors created by oil drilling in the lovely stat of texas. The earthquakes created there were very minor though barely reaching a 2.0

  • @devonharlan i am not saying it's THE reason, i'm just saying like an engine, like anything that rubs together (giggidey), example metal on metal, oil or any form of lubricant(gigiddey) cannot do any harm, if not...help! Friction, its pretty simple, think about it without using your books and classes. No insult intended, i'm just saying simplicity can sometimes be right.

p.s i'm Majoring in building engineering, so i got some props also!

  • Nah theres plenty of lubricant.. fucked a hole in the ground the other day.

  • that hilarious. i laughed to myself for like 5 minutes. priceless

  • @sikminesta makes sense

  • @sikminesta Thats actually a very interesting theory...I never thought of that.

  • @bradlyw420 I just want want so say I've had the same wonderment also.

  • @sikminesta Your the fourth person over the last several years that has said that and your not alone in that wonderment.

  • @sikminesta That would make sense if the world had been using fossil fuels for as long as we have been having earthquakes but thats not the case

  • @sikminesta lol hey man you might be on to something. I just realized that!

  • @sikminesta herb makes people smarter I don't care what any brainwashed fool says. And your theory on the oil is a good one.

  • @sikminesta of course you are wrong. Think about major earthquake that destroyed cities hundreds of years ago - all documented. The forces between plate etectonics are so high that there is no lubricant to make them slide nicely. Or if U want they do slide on a thin layer of molten rock - but still the jolts are huge when we referr to a human scale

  • @adi8899 Just wanted to say, lol @ "of course you are wrong"..... Jeez, the arrogance is strong and very apparent, even through writing.

  • @sikminesta . Appologies for that. I didn't mean to offend. English is not my first language and stuff we think in our mother tongue doesn't sound that good when translated into English word by word.

  • @sikminesta earthquakes have been going on alot longer than than we have been extracting oil... good guess tho

  • fking scary

  • overpopulation rocks!

  • the vault is open now! I would run in that place like Flash

  • @JDogDrums Lol. Not really. If "they" want to thin us out there are far more efficient ways. Expect something biological. This kind of thing would be better at inducing fear than actually wiping out significant numbers of people. I'm unsure of the stats on this quake, but diseases and famine are far easier to impose upon a people than natural disasters like this.

  • guys this was effected by HAARP like the haiti one too

  • @DarkwalkerLuke What's your evidence? Earthquakes happened before HAARP existed, you know?

  • the Power of the Earth..it can whipe us out without breakin a sweat.

  • 1:24 look at the cracks on the street, scary¡¡!

  • @gumersindok

Scary but fascinating, right? Watch closely and you'll notice that the earthquake makes the ground move similarily to ocean waves, rather than violent shaking as always depicting on tv.

  • @Katsuuuuuuuu ...*depicted" on tv.

  • Ripped from LL...

  • i was in an earthquake in ecuador in 1997 very scary experience

  • All very interesting, I'm glad so many got out but what's with the scary music?

  • spectacular filming

  • the dome cameras were bouncing as hell but never got loss video... amaing take man...!

  • Wow. Amazing video. Truly terrifying. I can't even imagine.

  • i hope the person who crawled under thier desk made it ok, and not in the part of the buidling that collapsed. that has to be a very scary thing to experience.

  • nice lip sync in the beginning >.>

  • dude at 1:00 that dude was a panzy he tried to get past that chick so he could get out first, thats un manly

  • actually thats very manly

  • Comment removed

  • Looks like its back to the drawing board. I hope everybody got out okay... especially those hot girls

  • Oh my God!

  • why was the CCTV dangling? i thought it was mounted on some stand?

anyways, the CCTV seriously can take a lot of damage, but not the building =.=

  • That building had a terrible design... Buildings core wasn't design for any type of degree of yield for ground flux

  • wow now thats good footage!!!

  • nice background music LOL

  • O.O wow, that's crazy

  • sorry but u have to say it thi is what they said oww no god zilla again

  • This is China, not Japan.

  • no this is China

  • What, you mean exactly what I said?

  • !WOW!

  • wut did he say????

  • Boring talking until 0:50

  • holy .......................... fuck!

  • ????????

  • WOW that looked like a horrible earthquake

  • Did everyone escape fast enough?

  • Oh noes!

  • Oh......Crap.... That's pretty bad!

  • How animals can know when an earthquake is coming and humans can't? We have so much to learn.

  • yep

  • us humans (who are very complex organisms) loose out sense to know because we block out things we neccesarily do not need...

  • Animal can feel earthquake, we can speak, build society's and destroy our planete, go figure lol

  • mostly because animals have intensive hearing

  • lol

  • OMG Ö

  • funny, they say to get under a desk or something but in this case, it was better just to run out of the building. Hard to know exactly what the right thing to do is sometimes. The desk won't help you if the building collapses.

  • fuk me those girls where exactly 12 seconds away from getting crushed next 2

    that cash machine!

truly amazing footage and very sad

  • That is scarey. We had one here in Cali just about a week and a half ago. I was in a bank at the time; and it wasn't this bad. But it's amazing how you can bond real quick with total strangers!

  • i'll have the #6, heavy spice. and go and put some perfume on before you come back to the table, eh?

  • Looking at this, it's hard to believe this is actually happening and that these aren't special effects in a movie. The panels falling off the wall next to the ATM, right after the three girls have run outside, look especially fake - but it IS real!

  • I don't want to offend anyone by saying this, and I know the quake was really bad, but was it as bad as in that clip, or just the cameras moving making it seem worse than it already was?

  • DarkMoonDragon the cameras were bouncing alot but look at the cars in the street and the pavement itself. This was a severe quake, and living in so.cal and being through the 7.3 landers quake its very scary especially when you cant stand.

  • I understand that, I've been in earthquakes before. i was just curious, not trying to offend anyone or any opinions :-)

  • Yeah!! i cant believe the pavement movements they are realy scary!

  • Your a jehovah witness?

  • No im not.. i dont believe in organized religion I do believe GOD has a name and its not Jesus

  • what did that have to do with anything? =/

  • lul i saw the name and i was just curious...

  • i think the cameras were shaking so it looked worse than it was but...still, its a pretty bad earthquake

  • 2008 was a VERY bad year...

there were more earthquakes in this year than any other

its kina like its 1989 again... :|

  • NISSAN MICRA !!!!

  • Woah.. such a big earthquake. I hope that whoever died in the bank in china can R.I.P

  • Those are some tough cameras

  • do we really need the freaking crappy soundtrack music? what is this, a movie for our entertainment? people's lives were lost and someone thought it would be appropriate to sensationalize this with bad kung fu film music.

  • !!!!!! what about the one that is unde the table?!! what happened to him?!!! GOD!!!

  • i know. I hope to God he is ok

  • Comment removed

  • bloody hell how scary is that.

  • hey i live in los angeles! wtf!

  • holy dam wonder if its gonna be like that on nov 13...hope nobody dies

  • i hope anybody that died in the building rests in peace

  • woahhhhhh it looks like u put the city in a box and started shaking it

  • watch 1:23 land moves like water

    thats scary!

  • In 01:02 someone hides under the table of this collapsed building

  • Yeah. Not too smart

  • theres an earthquake hitting los angles in november and it might be bigger than that

because of the san andrea fault.

so if u live in the los angles area be prepared for the big earthquake

    .

my whole family including couzin, uncles, aunts, and grand parents are prepared for it.

and so am i and i live in west covina and chino hills is like right over a mountain from me so i got hit pretty hard from the earthquake in july .

  • you're an idiot

  • lmao

  • They used the music of The Day After Tomorrow.

  • oh my good!

Between 1:23 and 1:34 you can see how the ground moves like it were water, even some pieces of concrete are thrown throu the air!!!

    OMG!!

    I'm in shock!

    :|

  • If you were there to look across the ground, you would see waves moving in a direktion.

  • learn to spell

  • Buy a life

  • It was a 7.9.

  • holy shit 7.9? Thats...wow
