Look up bare root transplantation. They dig them up with air spades and blow all of the dirt off. They can even transplant in full bloom successfully.
These tree moving machines are designed by people who know nothing about how trees grow. And trees will die faster this way. Tree roots grow downward and the spread out horizontally. For bigger and older trees, only the tips of those roots play the biggest part in absorbing water. The older roots will only serve as structural purposes. When those spades cut thru the roots and making a pot shape, the trees won't have enough roots to gather water. The trees will die in just a few shor years.
your either really stupid or dont know your trees some trees have roots that grow vertically, others have roots that grow horizonally pines grow vertically, oaks and pecan trees grow horizonally the tree that there moving most likely is just a gum or popular wich roots grow vertically they cant move trees where the roots would be cut because there to wide spread and big. If I ever see someone moving a 100 year old oak it would make my day thats how long it takes to get that amount of roots
