  • Get stuffed !! Fantastic fun.

  • Bloody wonderful.

  • "not the cross voice, the daddy voice!"

  • -Wheres Barbara?

  • I do enjoy this, the last one in the series that I enjoy, england didnt do it for me

  • This was a great Carry On film. Kenneth Williams was great in this, especially where he falls into the old cesspit! This one was great for suggestive double-entendres. Windsor Davies "Me balls burning"..."Don't stand so close to the fire!" Priceless. There's an interesting website on filming locations for these films, on what they looked like back then when these films were made, and how they look now. In this one, the "University of Kidburn" is actually Maidenhead Town Hall.

  • Can you imagine a week in a small Caravan with Elke Sommer?

  • @digglyda Elke was fantastic in this

  • one of my favourites :)

  • bresslaw was great liked these ones where he wasnt playing second fiddle to sid also not playing a dummy respect to the bernard!

  • Ere piss off... Haha one of the best carry on's

  • I love the 'Carry On's' it's a shame that there aren't the comic actors out there now to be able to successfully make another.

The humour fo today's comics just doesn't lend itself to bawdy stuff like this!

  • I love Elke Sommer's accent in this film. Hilarious!

I've learned (or half-learned) some British expressions here. What's so funny about scrubbers? (Sorry, in Canada I've never heard this one.)

  • The alternative meaning for scrubbing brushes, i.e. 'scrubbers' is a slang term for, how shall we say, 'ladies of the night'! This is one of my favourite Carry On films and it was actually on daytime TV in the UK last week. Interestingly although the setting is a summer campsite, filming actually took place in the winter of 1975 which is why in some scenes you can see the actors' breath. Check out the film on Wikipedia for more info.

  • @mesembryanthemum Scrubbers is an old-fashioned 70s and 80s term for what we now call "slappers."

  • One of my favourite Carry On films. I watched it last night and laughed so much. I particularly like the confusion over cramped and 'crumpet'. Priceless!

  • I can't believe you left out 'Me balls burning!!!'

  • A reason why this film didn't do well on it's release was for several reasons, one because Sid James was missing from the cast list and two because audiences were already familiar with the Carry on Camping theme. Over time though this has become an underrated treasure in the carry on series. And rightfully so.

  • Yeh I know, I still love this one though

  • @imbo8w Me too. It is awesome

  • Not the whole movie, but you can download this video by copying the url and then pasting into the keepvid website which will download it

  • Blimey, don't be so tight, you can buy it for less than a fiver!

Or splash out and buy the box set of all the 'Cary On's' it's a purchase you won't regret!

  • elke.....corrrrr!

  • "Maybe you are getting crumpet in pub also"

  • What do you think of the mynah bird scenes

  • The bird is great - "show us yer knickers". I think this is one of the better Carry On films, Elke Sommer is hilarious.

  • i think its one of the better carry on's but it didn't do well when it came out
