  • MG42 now called MG3 .. re-chambered in nato 7.62mm and used by German Army.

  • Seig Heil!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gimme Shelter... from the German saw

  • this weapon is an american / communist killer !! :)

  • 1:39. Runaway Shot. THATS WHY THE PUBLIC CANT OWN MACHINE GUNS!! Runaway shot: Keeps fireing without finger on trigger.

  • @Insideouters12 Ya...left wing reason #50015 to not allow gun ownership. Those damn runaway shots we all have to deal with carrying our MG42's for personal protection. I think you have a runaway brain...and shouldn't be allowed to own a brain.

  • @NeilLB7 Makes Sense

  • This thing is a beast so many american lives were lost so many good brave men when this weapon tore into them on the beaches of normandy june 6th 1944.

  • Good thing your grandpa wasn't there.

  • JAJAJAJA QUE FIERROOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • MG42. 70 years old, but still rolling !!!

  • RAMBOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Nice Buzz Saw!

  • The slo-mo part sounds just like an M3 Bradley firing the M242 Bushmaster 25mm.

  • they dont know how to shoot with these babies

  • ohhh man i want this gun. and the mauser

  • nice video! fun for me that american boys use the MG 42 which was used by the germans and austrians during world war 2. :) if i watch gunnie on history channel i always think american people only use american weapons because he always says that they are the best. sorry, but thats not true :) have fun with your mg! it´s a great weapon. greetings from an austrian soldier. (trained on mg 42 and stg 77)

  • @Buchstabensuppe75 Don't be so quick to think that Americans believe our weapons are the best. One merely needs to mention the Sturmgewehr 44, Lugar, MG-42, MG-34 and the legendary Mauser rifle to realize the equality or superiority of German weapons.

No coincidence that the two best Panzers in the world use the same Rheinmetall 120mm gun.

  • The music is so... fitting. take shelter, or you'll be in pieces.

  • Chuck Norris uses this weapon as his concealed carry.

  • @TaZ101SAGA Chuck Norris trembles in terror from the sound of this weapon.

  • why it it keep firing a little after finger was released from trigger?

  • @dugiskull Weak springs.

  • I want an MG42

  • great gun, great song. Nuff said

  • сумасшедшая скорострельнось.чудо пулемёт.

  • Having bikini clad women shoot this thing would be the only way to improve this video.

  • Scarface ~ Say hello to my little friend.

  • i love mg 42

  • greetings from germany :D

  • just amazing....

  • My unit found a few of these in Iraq still in the box wrapped in plastic and shipping lube

  • @collguyjoe99 That's awesome, I'm guessing since it was made by Germany, it fired flawlessly, yes?

  • @AnthonyTotheRescue

Just found em, had to turn them over, never got to fire em

  • Ich glaube, ich habe gerade ein wenig..... One of Germany's greatest weapons

  • LITTLE?

  • Note to self: Get a mg42 and stock up on barrels and ammo before the Zombie apocalypse.

  • a quality product of Germany

    Ein Qualitätsprodukt von Deutschland

  • @budzin303 Wer hat's erfunden?

  • @XyloLiontari ich weiß nicht, wer immer es war wusste, dass seine Sachen!

I do not know, who ever it was knew his stuff!

  • If you're spewing 30-06 class bullets at the rate of most rimfire submachineguns, you know you mean business

  • There you have it... the Machine Gun that won the Wa..... Oh wait... We lost didnt we??

  • the kraut boys are pretty smart, except for hitler of course. First of all, you dont try to fuck with america, second of all, you cant fight a war on two fronts so well.

  • good the u dont know how to use the foots at the front on the weapon XDD

  • HELLO :D

  • Leute, ihr müsst euch gegen die Waffe stemmen, sonst trefft ihr nix. Und mit einer Hand schon gar nich...

  • The M60 was an attempt to "improve" the MG42. Wish they would have just well enough alone and simply adopted it.

  • @armynurseboy yea, that was funny wasn't it, they slowed down the rate of fire, so you would not have to change barrels, and in reality, you got to shoot 1 sec, off 1 sec shoot 1 off, etc, dumb, the MG42 to this day in my opinion is 1.

  • @Doyouknowhowmuchusuc Well, slowing down the RoF was actually a good thing. With a slightly slower RoF, you don't burn through ammo quite as fast and it's easier to aim your bursts. The issue with the M60 is that they reverse engineered it off the MG42, but did a really poor job of it.

  • @armynurseboy i know. Did n't i say this?

  • @armynurseboy Don't forget the .308 is just a tad stronger tooo...like whoever, whatever you hit is going to know,my point, a m60 was not an improvement over the mg42, you could fire a mg42 from the shoulder and hip too, If this was something to shoot aircraft you want a higher rpm, higher rpm is just better, either way, you cannot shoot either one for 30 seconds straight anyways, or 20 or 15

  • Dont know how those germans did it man.

  • The MG42 is a lovely piece of kit, that's for sure. German engineers are certainly at the top end of innovation, there's no two ways about that. Their current LMG, the MG3, is basically the same weapon, but in 7.62mm NATO. When the Germans design something, it works & they only change it when necessary. I wanted one of these when I was a boy, but did Santa get me one? DID HE FUCK!!! lol Did you know the operating mechanism led to the design of the G3 assault rifle? Another awesome German weapon.

  • @Keith10284 I don't know if he knew this, I did, but my Name on here is Rheinmetall.

  • 25 Schuss pro Sekunde.

    Die sogenannte "Hitlersäge".

  • the second guy slowly vanishes from the video

  • german power

  • " those kids won't pinch apples from my garden again "

  • la vevo nel servizio militare una gran arma darei oro per averla. quanti ricordi 3 ska 92

  • noobs u have to lean against it so u have a good chance to get the target ,

  • The high rate of fire is a catch 22, It will keep their heads down, but at the same time do you need 1200-1400 RPM to do that? That's why in all old WW2 videos, nearly every Kraut has a belt or two for this ammo hungry bastard draped around his shoulders.

  • WHAT'S SWEET ABOUT THIS GUN IS FAST YOU CAN CHANGE OUT THE BARREL. THE KRAUTS KNOW HOW TO MAKE A EFFECTIVE MACHINE.

  • sorry, man W.A.Mozart was Austrian

    Beethoven was German !

  • Me"Dear Santa"

    Santa"HELL NO!!!"

  • Shooting that must have been like looking into the past. Reliving the nightmares of WW2. Gives me chills just thinking about it.

  • FACK YOU GUNS!!!!!!!!!

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • @PhilGTD Gime Shelter, by Rolling Stone

  • 42-answer to life

  • how the hell did you get your hands on that! a gift from thor???

  • I am confident that we Americans can make an exact copy of the MG42, and MG3 right here in the United States with all US manufactured parts and with American know how and workmanship. In fact, I am sure that we can make it even better than the original with the technology that we have today with computerization, CNC, PLC (Programmable Logic Control), and other modern manufacturing processes. I am very surprise that no one has taken to doing this.

  • i know it because im german ^^

  • but there is much very fucked up in germany

  • Gotta love the buzzsaw. Beautiful weapon my friend! One day I hope to own one as well

  • best LMG ever, all over the world!!!

  • this machine gun is awesome in world at war zombies

  • Aaah the lovely MG42. In the danish army, we use a later version of it, MG66 i think... cant remember. But its pretty much impossible to fire just 1 round with it, due to the RoF.

If you notice at 1:36 - 1:40, the gun actually fires twice AFTER he let go of the trigger.

  • @vanabe Does that mean it's almost impossible to kill only one person with it? xD

  • @vanabe oh its a runaway or just that badass!!!

  • @vanabe Nice catch, I dont think I would have seen that.

  • Melt That BARREL!

  • im kinda surprised germany didnt win the war.

  • i love german weapons!!

    im german

  • you mean your little german friend! Gott schütze Deutschland

  • this is my favorite gun in the world. one day i will own one.

  • almost 2 million veiws in 5 years why arent there more, its an mg42!!!!!

  • Er benutzt die Waffe ja völlig falsch. Das Zweibein bringt so, außer der Stüztfunktion, fast nichts.

  • Blam Blam Blam!!! There goes $85 worth of ammo.. (in california)

  • you have the mg3

  • once there was boy who wanted a machinegun when he grew up... LIKE ME

  • Just wondering, in the slow-motion clip, it shows that he takes his finger off of the trigger, yet it fires 2 more rounds. Anyone know why?

  • @PowderedAsh

Cookoff or some sort of maintenance issue probably. The guy to direct this sort of question to is KiwiTedFerney.

  • I can't speak for the rest of you, but this turns me right on. LOL! Sexy enough for any magazine cover or centerfold for sure. What u think people?

  • I love German machine guns !!!!!

  • I like how all you do is put it on slo-mo and it transforms into a 50 cal. lol

  • In 2.WW it was called "Bonecrusher" any Questions?

  • @matze141077 the soviets actually named it 'hitlers saw' for the way it cut down their troops.....just think 'omaha' landing zone on d-day the allies faced 85 of these weapons when they got out of the landing craft

  • 2 weeks ago i was in Saint Mary Eglish (france) i went too the Airborne Museum, theY had a weapon demonstration there ,with an MG42. they allowd me too hold (No Ammo offcourse) o boy if could get my hands on a weapon like that (too shoot) a dream would come treu,, ha ha ha, good luck with ,

  • Comment removed

  • @ykoh15 Dammit i hope that everyone that would see my comment wouldn't know anything about history..... Very Good Sir, you are not a foul !!!

  • @brunosantosmf ww1 german? LOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @brunosantosmf

LOL you know nothing about history. WW1 was not at Germany's fault... WW2 was also provoked by all the other nations... Hitler didn't start WW2 because he wanted to exterminate Jews, he simply used them as a scape goat to get people to follow his cause. He started it because Britain and France made a very unfair treaty after ww1 called the "treaty of Versailles".

LRN2HISTORY, Serbia and Austria hungry caused ww1, Germany tried to prevent it.

  • @MrOhaiMark at last some one who talks the truth, the problem is that the so-called winners try to re-write hitory to obscure the facts that germany DID NOT start either war...

  • @OHNGAI

Winners of a war write it's history, if Germany had won we would be hearing about how evil the allies were. It's really no different.

  • @brunosantosmf

ww1= German = wrong! Back to school!

Holocaust made by Nazis. Not every German was a Nazi btw.

  • @TheSeko2323 first machine gun was made by an american my friend

  • @TheSeko2323

    don´t forget:

the first assault rifel (StG 44)

    the first jet fighter (ME262)

engineering the first steelth fighter (Horten HIX)

using some helicopters in WWII ( Flettner F1 282)

    and so one :D

  • @TheSeko2323

This was all before modern Germans who cater to the pan socialist order of the Euro.

  • @TheSeko2323 we also walked on the moon thank to the germans... oh they already answer ;)

  • @TheSeko2323 you also forgot to mention the MP44 the first ever assault rifle. :) go Germans

    Mmmm....

You know, Albert Einstein was a Jew who had to escape Germany because the Germans wanted him dead for being a Jew...

    And Mozzart was Austrian.

Yeah, when it comes to machines Germany rocks, but you can't give them credit for Albert Einstein and Mozzart...

  • @sperch3d when Mozart was born, Salzburg was german.

    first anti-tank rocketlauncher= germany

    :D

  • @Seenuan1 Actually, the American Bazooka came before the Panzershreck, the Germans captured examples of the Bazooka in Tunisia and copied it.

  • @TaZ101SAGA i meant the Panzerfaust but good to know :D

  • The first car was German?

  • @HighlanderWallace the car is a german invention so yes (from mercedes benz)

  • @AggroKrebsGERx22 lol it's not. Amongst Verbiest’s many interests were also experiments with steam. Around 1672 he designed – for the Chinese Emperor’s entertainment – a steam-propelled trolley which most probably was the first working steam-powered vehicle, realizing “auto-mobility”. :)

  • This gun is such a beast!!!

  • If were ever invaded by a foriegn country i want 1 of these for each side of my house with about a total of 100,000 rounds and plenty of spare barrels.

  • work out a big more boys. that recoil is something u gotta really handle

  • i notice the shooter had hid wedding band on his finger. maybe he is married to this his beautiful looking MG42. Isn't she gorgeous?

  • german engineering at its finest

  • I want one!

  • This is Chuck Norris's son.

  • @PBY357 ckuck norris sucks

  • Ithink th German Army have designated this a G-2, or G3. I shot with them, and the trigger was real sloppy, but when it 'hit' it really greased them out...

  • daing people write alot! :o

  • Recoil is strong,isn't it??? :)

  • Perfect for killing some Nazi Zombies... Where is the Ray Gun now?

  • it's a wonder the germans lost the war with technology like this.

  • he turn the bipod wrong way, when you rotade bipod on 180 degrese you can press gun on bipod and recuce jumping around

  • and once the boy grew up, he got the machinegun of all the times, im jelly.

  • I'm looking into buying an mg 42 and would like to know the right place to buy one because i'm thinking about getting mine from red jacket?

  • black ops theme

  • @darkwings58 Actually it's Gimme Shelter by the Rolling Stones. It was composed a loooooooooong time before Black Ops came out...

  • @SonofBrummieDarkness i know. i was acting like a stereotypical black ops fanboy on purpose.

  • @darkwings58 Ah, I see. we need a sarcasm font

  • @SonofBrummieDarkness Rofl, newfags.

  • @SonofBrummieDarkness Hell, even this video came out years before that game. Probably older than the kid who commented!

  • That baby would be also my first choice. Love at first sight ...so to say! (-;

  • lol @ the first guys face during firing

  • Fucking beautiful gun. No offense to the thousands of soldiers mowed down by this single weapon! And nice recoil flinch lol

  • Fap...

  • Does it really need that long barrel?

  • @Chaanee yes, it increases accuracy and the ammunition it fires needs a long barrel for all the powder to burn.

  • @ak47proshooter Not to be rude, but it doesn't sound like you know exactly what you're saying lol. Does it need it or not? For cooling, or any other VITAL function?

  • @Chaanee Yes it needs it otherwise they wouldn't of designed it that way, it's so long to get the maximum potential out of the round it fires. just like the mosin nagant M91/30 firing the 7.62x54R when they shorten it into a carbine the barrel is so short the powder doesnt have time to burn properly, meaning a loss in muzzle velocity. Not to be rude, but why are you asking this in the first place. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @ak47proshooter Oh well how does the cooling work?

  • @Chaanee well it's air cooled, as you can see it has a large ventilated guard around the barrel compared to the small one on it's predescessor.

  • Comment removed

  • @Chaanee Yes it does....Every machine gun requires a long barrel, which results in ability to pour lid precisely on targets up to 600 meters away

  • @5ky5tr1d3r Ok I see..is there anything else that sprays that firepower but that handles better? I'm thinking the tommy gun fires the most metal per second out of the sub machine guns?

  • @Chaanee I'm not into numbers that much, but I know Tommy has good RoF (Rate of Fire). However,it fires .45 cartridge, while MG42 fires full sized rifle round,7,92x57mm at a RoF of 1200 rounds per minute. Also,Tommy's effective range is not above 100 meters, mostly because of weak and slow round-same situation with modern SMG's.As for same firepower, not much guns can offer this frpw-Belt feeding, rifle round and incredible rof is what's making this gun TOP

  • @Chaanee Maybe I didn't answered the question well...This amount of firepower is unbeatable, but for most modern combat situations, standard MG's with rof of about 500-800 rpm will do the trick. This gun was developed for one purpose only-to provide gun suitable for Soviet tactics of blindly rushing in enormous numbers.Actually,no gun was able to kill everyone before even coming close to MG nest. That tactics is not used now,so there really isn't much need for high RoF-it would be waste of ammo

  • @5ky5tr1d3r Yes you seem to know this... let's say 80 blindly rushing people storm your compound - that you must defend. You can not use mining or other pre-installed traps (because it's not a real warzone but a civil area..) - no electrical fences or so. No booby traps. When they climb on your perimeter wall - what will you use? You can't use RPG's because 80 are too many to hit - you need LOTS of bullets. The range is 50 meters. Which machine gun do you use (you mount it on a 360 degree stand)

  • @Chaanee 50 meters is very close...My weapon of choice would probably be this one, mostly because it's unmatched rate of fire, because of belt feeding-usually means LOT of bullets...I'd also prefer this since it's capable of firing long series without overheating and becoming useless, and, most of all,I'll chose this gun because of strong round that in some cases will kill two people by penetrating one of them. But,I'd also think about M249 PARA,since it has good MG properties, while being portable

  • @Chaanee Any SMG,carbine, assault rifle isn't able to stand this rush alone. You should know that every MG nest is organised like this: Shooters with SMG's,assault rifles and carbines are in it,protecting the functioning of MG at all costs. This shows you how important it is

  • LITTLE friend? thats pretty insulting to an Machinengewehr42 :(

  • Its like a gun Porno.

  • @Voss2120 "Say hello to my little friend" ... you give this sentence a whole new meaning!
