I'm trying to convert that same amp into a guitar amp. The preamp seems kind of weird. only 75 volts on the plates at V1. I'm thinking of pulling out everything before the phase inverter and just dropping a champ preamp in there instead.
But I don't know if it would be compatible with the power section.
