  • @jacobo3310 same here, Good shit

  • TDWP led me to this awesomeness. thanks jeremy :)

  • Let me blow everyone's mind who loves post rock with leading guitar pieces. Look up Followed by ghosts. They broke up last may but good lord, They were so great. Kinda like If these trees could talk.

  • @Espie23 Any of the other 10,000 bands ripping off Slowdive or MBV should scratch that itch...

  • This song puts me to sleep, Thank You Caspian

  • just heard this on the devil wears prada studio update. had to look for it.

  • this song was used in The Devil Wears Prada's new studio update....

    CREDIT GOES TO CASPiAN!

  • Everyday I'm Shuffling

  • @Traceurotops <3 LMFAO

  • @slizzutbusta1719 Don't forget 'Red Sparowes' and 'If these trees could talk'. Also fuckin amazing post rock bands

  • @tool85pushit god bless you for knowing If These Trees Could Talk

  • caspian is an underrated band, definitely one of the best if not the best post mogwai/explosions "post-rock" band, the four trees is a seriously beautifully album that still gives me chills 4 years later

  • EXCELENT SOUND, thank you for this!

  • Holy crap...62k views. I forgot I uploaded this. Freakin epic!!!

  • Can anyone give me any other bands that use the tremolo strumming guitar work all over the place like these guys do? It's when the guitars are doing the fast strumming, and it sounds all dreamy and stuff, heh.

  • @Espie23 If These Trees Could Talk, Mono (best band ever), pg.lost... that's all I remember right now.

  • @Espie23 If you're looking for something a bit less mellow, try Irepress or Gifts From Enola.

  • If you like Caspian, Hammock, Helios, Rachel's, Unwed Sailor, Boards of Canada, Explosions in the Sky, and other similar artists, you might like my music. I'd love some support. :)

  • @slizzutbusta1719 : Do you know any other good post rock bands? Cause i love them but don't know any other except the one you know?

  • @tholey1990

Check out Mono's 'Hymns To The Immortal Wind' album, and bands like Meniscus, Explosions In the Sky, God Is An Astronaut :)

  • This is...

    This is EPIC.

  • So damn good...on so many levels

  • @philgowmedia

This was in Galway in Ireland, in the Rosín Dubh it was a really small place so it gave it an unreal atmosphere...

  • I like to listen to this music and reading comments here. I have very simillar opinions like most of you guys. And I totaly agree with that nobody should blame someone for what genre or band he listenst to. I believe that every genre has its own culture that you have to understand and respect, even if you don't like it. I don't want to say you should keep your mouth shut. I just think that people should focus on what they like and support it or give it reasonable critique.

  • @slizzutbusta1719 Dude, relax. Just like what you like. Why does everyone else have to like it to?

  • @slizzutbusta1719 i'm not sure if we should promote something with negativity. there is nothing negative about this music.

  • @russellstall I'm with you dude, just relax, roll the tunes and spark up.

  • @russellstall Music is made of emotions, negative and positive.

  • I tried to press the 'like' button a million times...do you think it worked?

  • @slizzutbusta1719 Yeah I understand, it always pisses me off when you see that an amazing band like God Is An Astronaut has been around since 2002, released 5 albums, nobody knows about them, and other bands like Bloody Beetroots that released their first album last year and are already fucking famous.

I live in france, and I totally agree on that radio play comment, always the same shit... Always the same commercial music that is nowhere near art... Hey! I like Nickleback! ;P

  • @bloodgundamX you like nickelcrap? pussy

  • @juegas Everybody has got different tastes man, that's how life goes.

  • i saw them at la fete de la musique in metz, france last year. they played under a bridge and it was amazing, the sound effect was mighty, felt like heaven for almost an hour.

  • i'm soo listening to this before my wrestling match; beautiful.

  • i've got the album, and seen them last night for the 2nd time

    amazing experience seeing them live!

  • @sylus6666

Yeah they are well worth the watch and the ticket only cost me €13 and it was well well worth it. Love god is an astronaut, I got their setlist after the show and got them to sign it as well. Go me!

  • @arxabhorson

You were right Caspian's last song was unreal, was speaking to them after they played they are really cool people to boot!

  • I'm goin seeing God is an Astronaut tomorrow night and these are playing too. I hadn't heard them before, but now that I have I can't wait for tomorrow!

  • @miedoalosholandes I just saw them last night in Limerick. You won't be dissappointed, it's a phenomenal show. Until last night I hadn't heard of Caspian, now I'm working on buying a few albums.

Their closing song was just unbelievable.

    Drums. That's all I'm saying :)

  • @arxabhorson saw them in waterford! the drums were unreal at the end. i have a video of it up on my channel

  • @miedoalosholandes

sw them in waterford friday night. 1st time seeing caspian they were amazing. seen god is an astronaut well over 15 times. they always amaze me!

  • @miedoalosholandes Where was that. They should fully come to NZ. I have seen Jakob (kiwi Post Rock band) who blew my mind.

  • @philgowmedia

This was in Ireland in a really small bar, but that just made it all the more awesome. Their song Sycamore it blew my mind! To top it off I was talking to them after they played when GIAA were setting up they are such sound people!

  • they should market this as "the soundtrack to watch the end of the world to"

  • Music to watch the end of the world to.........

  • this song reminds me "betrayal" from silent hill 2... both creepy yet amazing :)

  • Is this about Edgar Allen Poe's piece?

  • What an awesome song! I always discover new bands due to other youtubers´ recommendations, and it´s always so peaceful on the comment boards here :) I love this music!!!

  • @slizzutbusta1719 Maybe they'll get bored of it if the same old crap gets played over and over. There is a method to their madness, it's just that the current fanbase enjoys the same songs 23497 times in a row. Profit is as profit does.

  • I like their sound. It reminds me alot of sigur ros which I am cool with.

  • WHOO! :)))))))

  • who the FUCKKKKKK dislikes this. wtf is wrong with u. u dont understand what music is.

  • @ObombOA wow, get off ur high horse retard. just cuz someone doesnt share the same taste in music doesnt mean they dont understand it u conceded prick.

  • I heard this song on a Chuck Liddell highlight video

  • Just found out about these guys and EitS.

    Loving it.

  • @Zerhino

try "this will destroy you" too

  • I wish the volume could go higher.

  • @slizzutbusta1719 You forgot to mention the most iconic of all post rock bands, godspeed you! black emperor.

  • some of these guys tunes r just awsome!!!

  • @slizzutbusta1719 I like it better that way, to be honest.

  • Incredibilmente stupendi

  • I love this band

but there's one bad thing about post rock.

I drove into the holidays with my friends very early last week so I was terribly tired while driving. Almost fell asleep when putting this song on the radio.

After that I was forced to listen to Hardcore Trance stuff cause the others didn't want to die... my fault

  • @JuiCeBoX19 Hardcore 4lyf!

  • soothingly haunting

  • @slizzutbusta1719 dude........ i feel the exact same way. im fed up with mainstream radio and nickelback bands and all this tasteless careless music. this stuff is heartfelt and awesome.

  • Amazing Song, reminds me of the all the stars out there in the universe.

  • beautiful..

This is the second song of them I listened to...

    I love it.

  • @KnightShave same here, second ive listened to by them so far and still liking it a lottt

  • Great track. Love Tertia. Seeing these guys in Omaha in April.

  • my cousn is guitarist

  • Ok so i typed caspian in and i got this rap crap instead of this man. Do they rap also cause if so thats gay

  • No they don't. Caspian is some Canadian hip-hop artist with the same name. It's unfortunate the guy had to choose the name, talk about poor misrepresentation. I donts likes the hipshop musics, it ams poops.

  • I like this! Favorite and five stars from me. Thanks for posting. =]

  • words fail me

  • Love it

  • bro dis is 4/4

  • Yea I was thinking of a different one. I asked my friend to link me the first one I heard, and he sent me this one, I thought it was that, and didn't listen to it before I commented. There is another song that goes from 4/4, to a waltz, to a 5 count, or something like that. Not sure which one that was.

  • it goes to 11/12 for a solid portion of the song

  • this

  • we have to keep supporting these guys with buying there music, yes they might be underrated but at least a few enjoy it with heart purity and absolute respect and appreciation.

  • this is so epic

  • well, they don't play Fall Out Boy on the radio, but i get what you mean.

  • what are you talking about? maybe not where you're from, but where i live, they play fall out boy constantly on every "hit radio" station

  • dam you right but all that will change soon god , this and sky will flow through everyone ears and people will see life for it really has become

  • its sad i know. but you just have to enjoy the good music and not worry about what others listen to

  • Very Best!!!! New album - COOL!!!!!

I Hope Look The Caspian in Russia , St,Petersburg!

  • I saw them live a couple of days ago. They opened with this song. It was one of the best gigs i've seen in years and I see three or four bands each week. I've never ever heard a more massive and beautiful sound coming out of speakers before.

  • id totally agree!

  • fuckin ace man. my second fav song off the new album, the first being ghosts of the garden city. gotta love caspian.

  • !!!!!!!!!

  • this music is just awesome! best songs by far are "vienna" and " Sycamore" (except this one)

    WATCH "SYCAMORE" LIVE IN POZNAN...

  • Thanks for the recommendation. I hadn't seen that video yet. I'm glad you're enjoying the album.
